There is the experiential time of eternity, and the actual time. You may experience something to be eternal  for as long as you experience it but then in the actual time reference frame the experience keeps changing.

The ultimate truth that may not exist is whether or not it is possible to reach actual eternity, But I don't see how that's possible if the rest of the universe keeps existing.
