Deleting my Watch list

8 posts in this topic

Hey guys!

This is kind of random, but maybe it is a helpful idea for some of you.

I used to have an enormous watch list on You Tube, covering a lot of scientific and also spiritual topics. I was not going to watch the majority of them anyway,

so today I deleted the entire collection of video suggestions.

It felt GOOD! Very liberating, in fact.

Why? - Because I don't rely on any "external sources" to find the truth, I have to figure life out for myself.

And I encourage you to do the same.

Lots of Love, everybody!

@Judi Congratulations. Hard thing to do.

I used to have an extreme amount of videos and books in my queue.

I also deleted them all at one point for that liberating feeling that you are talking about.

Still reading and watching videos though. But it's from a totally different place.

I get how you feel. The attitude of having to go through some material, books or videos, is very limiting. The heart of the problem is measuring our intellect and success by how many books and videos that we have 'completed'.

The road to God is paved with bliss.

I don't look at my watch list. I just pick a video I feel I need to learn from right now. There are a lot I want to watch but I know that I have limited time.

@JudiWhy can't you share the watchlist to us? I need a watchlist because I am struggling to find such content.
