What would taking enjoyment out of a shitty life be called? I guess it would be called nihilism.

Isn't nihilism making listless of an enjoyable life?

@blackchair I've no idea why that was a joke.

Isn't nihilism supposed to be having a pessimistic attitude and enjoying subpar conditions and accepting a bad fate?

@diamondpenguin I think the meanings are quite similar.

One thing leads to another

If a nihilistic person makes a good situation boring or unpleasant, he is also more likely to accept and enjoy bad circumstances and shitty life conditions.

He is going to take it as a confirmation of his pessimistic beliefs.

Similar to enjoying the process of wallowing in pity..

That's really interesting, I don't really know a whole bunch about like you do but I heard in one of Leo's videos that the pit of nihilism is nirvana. And so according to what your saying if someone makes an unpleasant situation pleasant then their life will be better, and if someone makes a pleasant situation unpleasant they will have a pleasant life. I make that theory cause everything is dualities according to leo, is that true?

Die before you die so when you die you wont die.

Or die before you die, so you may live.

Goals .... :P

How many years you got left? 50, 40, 30, 20, 10. Make the most of it. You won't regret it.

To sharpen the sensation of impending death, just look at life expectancy in your nation (thanks Google). Plenty of nice graphs and maps there:

All stories and explanations are false.

I love this idea, something we all should strive for, but less than one percent achieve.
