He has two courses.

One is UPW and the other is DWD.

Unleash the power within and Date with Destiny.

You could either book an event live which is extremely extremely extremely expensive (expensive to the hilt!) or you could take a virtual seminar course.

I'd love to hear people's experiences if  they've been there, but I suspect I won't find many, since it's mega expensive to be at any of his events.

He's really overrated IMO.

His workshops look like an evangelical service...

@Preety_India

I’ve been to UPW twice.

It is good if you’re new to personal development. Tony will definitely put you on the right track, I got a lot of benefit out of it. Some of the exercises he has you do are excellent.

But there’s also so much to learn beyond what I’ve seen from Tony.

Doesn’t do much for me to be honest. He has his place in the domain of basic self-help, but I find a lot of his teachings extremely commodified, superficial and sometimes patronising.

Nonetheless, he still serves well in many areas, just not so much my cup of tea.

@Jacobsrw I think he is great for beginners like me.

I like his terrifically high energy on stage. I end up finishing my work listening to his motivation speeches

Frankly, I'm yet to come across a motivational speaker as good as him.

He is a legend in that category.

I mean his communication skills are top of the top, it's mesmerizing how he blends words.

He surely got a gift that keeps giving.

Although I've uncovered some controversy about him that doesn't put him in a good moral frame.

But that's not something I should have to worry about as long as I can focus on the benefits.

I mean nobody is perfect.

Yes I empathise with what you’ve mentioned here. Good on you for involving yourself.

He can definitely be useful. It just depends on what you’re working on.

Deep work doesn’t start with Tony Robbins more so foundational survival.

To get deep into self-development it doesn’t get much better than Leo to be honest

As for motivation, listen to Eric Thomas he is far better in my opinion. The first motivational speaker I listened to years ago.

all time classic.

Years ago, I attended a seminar led by Werner Erhard.    He had an impressive presence and high verbal skills.   All these “guru” cult leaders use similar psychological techniques.

Watch the Netflix documentary “I am not your guru” and decide for yourself. I think he’s an incredible force, and I know many people who have had their lives changed via his work. There will always be critics...

He's great, especially for if your getting into self help or still don't understand the fundamentals of self-help that well. Ofc there's better people who can teach self help than him but thats not his audience. His audience is catered to people at the beginner level. Don't know why he gets so much hate

Like all other teachers.

Some great stuff and other stuff that isn't perfect.

Take what you like, leave out the rest.

Even if someone is advanced level, they can still have a ton to derive from him. He is massive motivator.

I like that part.

Just watching him speak feels magical.

Tony looks like a bad used car salesman. He looks so scammy. He talks fast that means you have no time to think about what he said. Cheap tricks.

I rather go with the iranian immigrant mentality

@Epikur I don't understand why you would be so hateful of him.

Many people benefit from his course. He has been an industry mogul for decades..

I understand that you get a used car salesman vibe from him but selling is how he started. He started with marketing.

Much of marketing field has a used car salesman vibe. I'm enrolled in a marketing course offered by my local college. It always has this vibe because this is how it begins. Tony is great for bachelors and graduates in Sales and Marketing. He offers top advice and his tricks are smooth.

I don't think he is  a scam artist.

He talks fast because he is used to talking. But his communication style is in the top 10 in the world imo.

You need effective communicator for motivation or else it falls flat.

Tony is running a business not an orphanage. So of course there will some negativity where people might think he is making money.

But if he can motivate people, he deserves all the money.
