Infinite Awakenings?

19 posts in this topic

I have been under the impression that we can have unlimited awakenings; an infinite amount.

Doesn’t infinity = 0 though?

0 awakenings?

@mw711 Sounds like you're at zero, so there ya go ;)

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Infinity is not equal to zero.

Care to elaborate?

How do you elaborate such things?

It's just common sense.

Infinity = 0 + 1

It is nothing, and everything, infinitely.

Just because God loves you doesn't mean it is going to shape the cosmos to suit you. God loves you so much that it will shape you to suit the cosmos.

@Preety_India Perhaps my questions are dumb. Nonetheless, while for the majority of my life, I had agreed with you - infinity and zero are not the same - somethings I have heard others say, including Leo, has seen pretty convincing that zero and infinity are the same thing.

What Leo had explains was the number line example: all numbers positive and negative, infinitely, actually balance out into zero.

I must have misunderstood something.

Now it seems more so, zero is infinity but infinity is not zero.

Why do you call everything you don't understand or agree with "hogwash"? You are the only logical one?

Because in my mind, that's what it is

@Preety_India I respect the confidence - and you may be right - idk - that’s why I started this thread - but your explanation seems more taunting than teaching.

Could explain your perspective on how they are different instead of just saying it is and that my perspective, which I have already admitted is uncertain, is hogwash?

Infinity is neither 0 nor not 0.

Both are two sides of the same coin.

It's not wrong to say infinity is 0.

It's also not wrong to say infinity isn't 0.

Everything has qualities of sameness and differentness.

If they can be distinguished in any way, they are different.

Since infinity and 0 are two different words, they are different in some regard.

BUT

Everything is the same in the sense that everything is part of the Universe. Everything is you.

Infinity and 0 are both you. Therefore, they are both the same.

Realize there are no absolutely Correct answers. There are only relatively correct answers.

You are correct.

BUT

You are incorrect to believe you are absolutely Correct.

@Valwyndir zero basically means nothing. Infinity doesn't mean that.

In a strict mathematical sense, zero represents nothing. And Infinity and zero are not considered same. In fact they are considered opposites.

Infinity represents that which cannot be counted because it's so large.

Whereas zero means that which cannot be counted because it doesn't exist.

Ah, see I was speaking from the perspective of reality itself.

I was referring to myself as the Universe. I was articulating from the POV of God.

If we're talking about a symbolic system such as mathematics, then you're relatively correct.

But notice how language points to various perceptions.

And remember, mathematics wouldn't exist without the collapse of the duality between the existential zero and the existential infinity that I was referring to.

@Valwyndir  mathematics will always exist regardless of whatever you want to believe about the universe

Mathematics doesn't care about your beliefs

I'm not speaking from belief. I'm speaking from direct experience. Mathematics will always exist because everything will always exist. Every minutia of reality is mandatory for its existence. Nothing can be deleted from the Universe because the Universe is all there is, and there's nowhere else for anything to go. The point is that mathematics can't exist without existence itself. Nothing can. Not even nothing haha. By referring to the collapse of the duality between zero and infinity, I'm pointing to a direct being of existence itself.

@Valwyndir

I will need more time to integrate this all and make sense of it. Thank you, however, I was focusing too much on the idea that infinity and zero were actually the same. Which I can see as correct, but, as you mentioned, perhaps, I had forgotten, only relatively so.

Which, if things are what they are appearing to be, makes me giggle at Leo’s response.

Here I have been, dumb founded, heads and tails are the same coin - I forgot which side I picked ?
