What is The Mind, really?

I'm curious about your views and definitions.

What is the mind, in your experience?

Do you feel like you're actually walking around inside of your mind? Or do you think the mind is just this thing in your head? Perhaps some sort of a realm? A mental layer of existence?

What is it and how does one 'transcend' it?

What does it even mean to 'transcend the mind'?

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Rupert Spira says that when you wake up, the illusion continues, but the ignorance comes to an end. And Bashar says a very similar thing.

Thought. Not even.

Meaning everything stays the same, you just see it for what it is?

@Kalo Like how you put that. But...what is it?

Why are there two distinct words if 'the mind' and 'a thought' are one and the same?

What am I? Are we really in a dream like Papaji says?

You

Ok. But let's go deeper.

I'm interested in how does the mind function. The mechanics of it.

Am I really shifting endless times in every moment as Bashar says?

It sure does seem like it.

But how so?

The definition of thought is the act of thinking. Therefore, Anything you think is a “thought “ (“Mind”, “me”, “you”, “infinite”, “time” including word of “thought”  is a thought). Because all those stuff is something that you “think”.

This is the real question. Mind, thought, time, me, you vs... is just a putting meaning, naming and labeling the “words” (as saying or calling mind to “mind”,  words to “words” , thoughts to “thoughts “, time to “time”). If “you” take away every naming and labeling (which concludes with not knowing), after that everything is identical.

Therefore there is no such a thing as thought, mind vs... therefore there is o distinction. (Question from first quote).

Thats why mind is so called “thought” , “not even”.

I think we literally are mind and it's freaking me out. Mind talking to itself.

It can really be that nothing actually exists as Papaji said. We can be in a dream.

Oh but there is. Making distinctions is intelligence, too.

There is the thought of Mind, and the actuality of Mind.

Transcending a thought is not the same as transcending the mind - imo.

you are inside your mind

Yes? So?

You ask to understand mind by using mind. That's not gonna workxD

I'd say the mind could reach a deeper understanding of itself. Why not?

Hear ya. How come there is this and/or that?

How is duality 'generated'?

Everything is the Mind.

Mind is a thing that dreams/imagines. And since it is infinite there is nothing outside of it.

And of course, in strange loop fashion, Mind imagines itself into existence. Which is how God created itself.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
