The beginner is the furthest on the path

The beginner is the furthest on the path
in-it, wonderstruck, free of a seeker wrath's
for instead of the wise man's words
he admires the woke-as-fuck birds.

The beginner is an enlightened comedian
laughing at the walls of Plato's cave
"God is nothing but Life, a bohemian
Knowledge is a master -- I'm not her puppet nor her slave."

The beginner travels the land, starry-eyed
in awe of Life's wonders gawking like a child
he trudges in the Home he has never left
for Love has always had his back.

"You have never fooled me," proclaims he to Knowledge,
"I am God, I am the Unknown, and Love is Heart's to forage."

Sometimes ignorance itself removes blocks. The seeker seems to add more blocks the 'further along', only to tear them down again like mere play things.

Perhaps not ignorance but unknowingness.

You nailed it. There's a reason why billions of people are into religion. 9_9

Pure truth has no appeal to the human mind. Yet in adding sugar and spice and funny hats, it ceases to be pure truth.

reminds me of that meme where a man digs down to find a ladder, then comes back up the ladder, and feels "I did it".

I wanted to find happiness, Spirituality was just another way
I kept going and seeking some word
I thought I was one special man, out of the sheep herd
Slowly I saw what I sought wasn't even away

It is the most normal, why did I want to be special?
It is the most informal, it is the most humble.
It is so humble that there is not even you.
What I always wanted was this big, "Phew!"
Of realizing that it's so meaningless
that it's meaningful.

I hope, you meant it ironically. Because exactly this is a reason, why knowledge is better than ignorance. Otherwise how do you know , that you are moving in right direction, that your mind/ your ego is not playing games on you. Please tell me nothing abou intuition. It´s so widely misunderstood, almost as bad as the god.

@Hulia Of course I do not mean it ironically to suit your worldview. Religion is genuinely making their lives better. You may have epiphaneous awakenings and still be religious. God is just filtered through notions and beliefs. This is basic application of systems thinking. Sounds like you have a shadow against religion. Instead of arguing, go figure. This convo is over. Have the last word if you please.

@seeking_brilliance :))))))) I try to be open-minded. But I still prefer a scientific approach over blind faith. Faith is always blind, it´s a definition of faith

Intuition is a bit different than faith. Faith is believing in something you haven't seen. Intuition is knowing when to believe, often times through trial and error and the wisdom of ages. (or complete psychic transmission)

@seeking_brilliance I bet, the majority of Trump voters belong to those who rely on their intuition :)

This is how propaganda works.

I cannot beleive, I don´t have this mechanismus in my brain. Whether I know that something is true or I assume that something might be true. This assumption is probably what you call intuition. But it´s not a beleive it´s an assumption.

I assume, your intuition is deceiving you. It often does as I know :)

Trump himself seems to rely on a sort of intuition. His supporters are mostly a part of a mob mentality (as with many of his opponents).

They say intuition is a skill that can be enhanced with effort. I cannot comment from experience, though.

Even a buddha is ought to be the furthest on the path!

For he knew, he found the cure

But was he really ever sure?

For it was just a zest

For an ever lasting quest

Oh! you are but just an ignorant worm

Who think he is a buddha! but is just another superfluous form

He who is ignorant might one be the furthest

But yet he is free of those superfluous forms of what a so called buddha is nothing but a mere puppet

So only he shall be labelled a Buddha

Who is there, yet the— Furthest

@ajai Thanks for chipping in with your poetic melody. People round these wilds have a wonderful ability of intellectualizing the hell out of life's simplest of forms - Art - so I love to see the revival of wonder and awe. You're an artist by heart, did ya know? :x

Not really, but, then I guess everyone is, it's just that few are recognised by their syntactical predilection/potential.
