Lack of profoundity of spiritual people

38 posts in this topic

I'm exploring this forum in search of profound knowledge, but 99% of the posts are just an endless repetition of the mantra "consciousness is all there is", which is kinda obvious and boring. Why do spiritual people don't have anything else to say ? Like for example some profound things ?

Some spiritual one-liners are sort of applicable as an answer to everything, but there's a big difference between a mechanical repetition and words emanating out of a state of awareness.

Or, perhaps labelling a cure-all statement like 'you are not the person' as boring is an ego defense mechanism to maintain a purely superficial, intellectual level of spiritual seeking. Like talking about the swimming pool but refusing to budge from the end of the diving board. It is important to be conscious of what the mind is doing.

Its fine, no worries. For them its an amazing insight(which given credit.... it is). Go beyond.

So wanna chat about some deeper insights you may have gotten?

perhaps you have realized other aspects of reality.

What about this... You exist so much(as an individual) that everything you do matters. honestly explore the self side. the self that knows its playing a game. the self that knows it exists because you are an aspect of reality playing with itself.

yeah, they have a limit. A true spiritual master says those lines less and less as they grow(they could if its their path, but a highly awakened person does not tend to do that)

Its not that they become less true it is that they see more aspects to reality. For someone still understanding this one truth they will fall in and out it often when trying to keep their consciousness raised. Tbh, people who say that all the time are great as they are growing but they are not that high conscious

Yes I like more profound topics like shapeshifting, magical entities, higher states of consciousness, grace, mystical martial arts, modern advanced science hidden from the mainstream, healing methods etc. I'm exploring some of these things and it would be fun to discuss it, but I also know there is an incredible depth to non-duality that some people on this forum has realized that is amazing so I get why many focus on only that!

hey, those topics are funnn to explore. I would love to discuss these things with you. Yeah, Many of us have great knowledge its just we kinda know that many others are not ready for this kinda thing. Many of these things are tended to be discussed with someone you know closely as you know they can handle and understand these things.

edit: I thought about it and i do not think we should talk about this stuff for now. I'll think about it more later. the reason is a lot of stuff we know others should not. purity should be key, however sometimes people get stupid with this stuff.

Im kinda tired. ill see how i feel after a nap. for now take care. bye and yeah those things are kinda cool. its just we gotta be careful cause this stuff goes deep and we should keep a lot of people away from this stuff unless they are taught from a pure teacher.

If you’re looking for more profound discussion, maybe start threads. Like this one. Ask simple questions and you get simple answers.

Truth isn't profound at all. It's the most obvious thing there is.

@Cosmin_Visan This forum has gotten more dogmatic/lazy over time. But I don't know you, so what I'm seeing may not be the same as what you mean.

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

@Cosmin_Visan remember language will not get you to Truth.  It is finite.  Get in touch with actuality through spiritual practices.   If you get lost in a bunch of talk you will never actually find Truth for yourself.  After that you won't need spiritual teachers.

Your hands are + There is only everything = Your hands are literally everything.

Boundless Unconditional Love is all there is.

Reality is the mind's own making.

WHAT IS is beyond reality.

These words are reality; reality is not the truth.

What’s the matrix, in your opinion or estimate?

Now that's profundity! ??

@Cosmin_Visan  I agree with you. The thing with spirituality is that you will Need to discover your own insights on your path because it's unique to you. I've tried digging the most profound posts but I hate to tell you that they are 1 in 300 threads in this section. Much of what goes on usually flies over my head because it's like people talking in circles which is super easy by the way. I don't pay much attention to it. I try to have my own insights in my meditation sessions. I don't think that this is a right or wrong place. Only that the quality has kinda degraded a bit because many people left or were plucked. So yea I guess the peaceful conscious ones just practice, haha, don't consider me conscious either because I got a lot of unconsciousness in me as well, just that I too want to focus more on practice than just  theorizing. Good luck mate.

Philosophers look for profound knowledge.

Spiritual people look for the spirit that exists beyond knowledge.

Maybe once you exhaust your seeking for profound knowledge, you too will seek the spirit.

Are you a philosopher or are you spiritual?

Or, you might be something else. ;)
