Great talk in which he shares in his usual rich way. I had forgotten that he taught at Chogham Trunpa's Naropa University in Colorado. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chögyam_Trungpa

He starts out deep in this talk and on into his lecture and he reads some biographical events out of his Book; Be Here Now.

He relates some personal stories with some  humorous  events sprinkled through out. One of which was his interaction with Bhagavan Das https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhagavan_Das_(yogi) and his giving Lsd to his Guru https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neem_Karoli_Baba

Wow can't believe we didn't have a thread for Ram Dass already. Nice one!

This is a beautiful short documentary about the latter stages of his life. Its on Netflix here in the UK. I'm sure it's the case in the US too.

Ram Dass was a cool dude!

He gave many important perspectives and relative rare contribution to mankind from his radical choices in life and all recordings, during a sensitive time and big shift into modern society.

I listened to some of his talks on a trip once, it was stunning. Deep spiritual power in that man.

Ram Dass for me is a rare example of mind+heart, plus he's a great story teller with a lot of honesty about his capacity as a teacher and shortcomings.

That describes him very much in giving this talk.

Tonight being the first time I've heard it.

Found this one here in my browser. Thought I posted it previously but I guess not.

If anyone runs across Ram Dass telling the joke about Nussruddin identifying himself at the bank, I would appreciate a time mark and also which lecture it is in. I lost track and would like to hear again and how he tells it.

Another good one from Ram Dass and it’s under 40 minutes. He speaks about special relationships in the same way that ACIM does.plus much more.
