I believe it's just the way it was before we were born. Pure nothingness. Why should it be otherwise?

Edit:

With the exception if this is the case:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Bounce

But in the end, can anyone really know for sure what's after death?

@Someone here After death is now, as it's always been.

Indeed it's always now. But some nows are different from other nows.  Is the now after death gonna be colorful like this now or a purely empty now??

It will be the same. Which means: you will get born.

"No experience" cannot be perceived by definition. I can't say that it's going to be coloful like this because the possibilities of experience are infinite. But if it's experienced, it will always feel like "now".

@Someone here I have a theory.

Consciousness belongs to the God-Self and never the egoic self. So, when a branch of life dies, God-Self continues experiencing life in different forms as there is the whole tree left to explore. That might be the only reason God creates life, to experience itself through itself. It made reality, then a human life, then it realised itself to be the thing inside of the human it created and then it also realises it made reality and that’s God waking up to itself.

Thanks. That's a honest answer.

@allislove I don't get your answer. So basically you are saying I will immediately find myself in another body?

The decaying body is like a wave on the ocean which starts to lose its shape... It then doesn't "become" the ocean because it always was the ocean!

There is no eyes to see anything now. Always now.

The mud gets fertilized and grows new life.
