Examples of Turquoise Communities

17 posts in this topic

In Leo's Turquoise video, he mentioned there's dozens of communities out there that are Turquoise on the SD map. I was wondering if ya'll could list any you know about. A few that were mentioned in Leo's video:

-Sadhguru Isha Foundation

-The Chopra Foundation

-Sat Yoga Ashram in Costa Rica (Shunyamurti)

-Mooji's Monte Sahaja in Portugal

Thanks for your help :)

Be careful. Many of these could simply be Green.

@Leo Gura Do you think it is even possible to have a truly stage Turquoise community when the overwhelming majority of people in these communities will be stage Green and maybe some Yellows? Even when the community is run by a Turquoise leader wouldn't the overall atmosphere and "vibe" of the place skew very Green? Osho's Oregon ashram (and maybe Mooji's) seem like examples of this. Not sure though.

There would be turquoise academic circles.

With rare stages, it is probably far more frequent to see intentionally formed groups with no set location, rather than actual local communities.

There could be local communities that I wouldn't expect though.

Yeah, that's exactly the problem.

Most people in these communities will be Green, and not even solid Green at that.

A lot of New Age occurs in Green with people who haven't even successfully integrated Blue and Orange.

There is a fad of Green folks fleeing from Orange capitalism/materialism into communes, ashrams, and eco-villages.

We have to be careful about such movements as they can easily spiral out of hand. It can become a parallel of the Purple to Red transition, where things start off nice and peaceful but then devolve into power-hungry warring syndicates as the population increases and egos get ambitious and start to skirt the rules.

The problem is that government is necessary in all such communities, but usually they these communities are anti-government.

@Leo Gura Do you think it's possible to work as a consultant to help move businesses from orange to green and above?

Obviously, since many such consultants exist.

Transitioning businesses to Green is a huge business. Orange businesses simply aren't sustainable, and they will all soon recognize this and need help transitioning.

@Leo Gura why not sustainable? not all Orange businesses just exploit loopholes, trade or extract the extra value of their employee's work. There are creative ones too, no? Value-offering?

what about capitalism? I'd like to draw a parallel between stage Orange business and capitalism.

That’s basically what I’m doing atm. I helped to develop a training called ‘transformational leadership’ where we used spiral dynamics to help leaders to transition from orange to green.

The business for that is growing.

Another big challenge is the younger generations growing up with a stage green mindset not finding their place in an overwelmingly stage orange workplace.

Because they will be out=competed by Green businesses.

Who's gonna want to work for an Orange business when there are Green businesses to work for?

Who's gonna want to partner with an Orange business when culture shifts to the Green value system? Green is gonna view Orange businesses with shame. As it already the case with corporations who don't support BLM and LGBTQ and the environment.

All the biggest corporations are going Green, or risk upsetting the masses by being perceived as "evil". "Evil" is bad for business and this will only become more true in the future.

Late Green flattens artificial hierarchies, so natural ones can emerge at Yellow.

Typical Green uses conventional organization structure, so...

... that would be exactly what a Green business is. This plus care about cultural issues.

Orange business - low wage.

Green business - ok wage.

Now you can see how Orange is not sustainable in the long run. As more Green businesses arise people will demand a Green workplace and a Green CEO to run it. Its happening everywhere, simple evolution.

@Identity Sounds interesting. Can you share a link to this training, if you have one? I'd be interested to learn more about what you're up to.
