Where does revolutionary socialism fall on spiral dynamics?

And what are the pros and cons of this ideology in your view?

Curious to see what people say. It’s hard to place for me.

It depends on what you mean by "revolutionary socialism." Socialism generally has a lot of Green (and some Orange) elements to it, so you'd be hard to find a socialist movement that doesn't at least in part adhere to Green values, but depending on the country that it's operating in / the time period its occuring etc. then you can have revolutionary socialism that extends Red all the way up to Green.

Could you give some more specific examples of what you mean by revolutionary socialism?

Sounds like it would be in human species consciousness.

I see nothing in the name that implies a transpersonal state of mind.

Anywhere on the Spiral. Its like saying where does Christianity fall? Well, you can be a Blue moralistic Christian, a crusading Red one, an Orange TV-Evangelist. You cant really put Socialism into a box like that.

Yeah and televangelism is quite a low form of Christianity. Green elements are probably minimum for a good religious form. That way it has worked through transcendence of opposites and has a humanity consciousness.

It should also point upward through the spiral indefinitely, so that one can adhere to it no matter how far one progresses.

I get the sense that when people think of "socialism" they are imagining the USSR's version of Communism, as in the clip below. That clip does a good job showing how it is that a Green sounding idea like Communism is actually Blue to the core, and why we need to carefully distinguish between "socialism" as it exists in the Nordic countries, for example, from Communism as it existed in the USSR.

I'd say most of the people you see peddling it are simply green bleeding hearts, a bit like the extreme vegan activists.

The issue is, most have a lack of understanding of economics, business, government, how corrupt humans in power are etc, and think it will transform into some dystopia.

Also, I've noticed recently how people LOVE extremes, it's either Capitalism or Communism or full Socialism, I look forward to when more tier 2 people start evolving and seeing through the façade of Left / Right, and start seeing the potential of a truly hybrid system where people actually work together, now that'll be when politics gets interesting!
