Do you guys still drink alcohol?

Does anyone think that alcohol has a spiritual benefit? I know that alcohol lowers your vibrational frequency but still I think it has a purpose. Why do people drink alcohol? There must be a reason that God created it in order to experience how it's like to be drunk. So whatever you do, it's God's will, since we are all God. I'm just curious.

Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.

I don't know about that last bit...

But yeah, alcohol can have a spiritual purpose, just like other drugs. Actually as a daily to weekly habit, i think alcohol is better to use than other drugs, assuming it gives you the effectd you're looking for.

I have definitely used alcohol to great spiritual benefit. There are health effects and danger due to intoxication to be mindful of though.

Depends on what your goals are. If you're heavily invested in sharpening your senses, then stay far away from it.

Haha that's funny I think Leo actually said in one of his videos that we might not be here if our father didn't have enough beers and bundle up the courage to ask our mothers out... love that video ❤

In fact I'm not sure there would even be casinos and gambling without the invention of alcohol... nothing makes you more spiritual and realize the unimportance of money than dropping a grand down on the craps table after a strong glass of whiskey and losing it all in one bet lol.

You could also call this being an unwise gambler hehe... the point is that I walked out of the casino smiling and with no regrets.(true story at the Chumash Casino 1 month ago) ❤

Sometimes, i drink socially, it helps to create real fun memories, tight bonds with people. Getting drunk with someone usually makes our friendship stronger afterward, the same as MDMA (this one is way better for bonding but it's a rare occasion).

Don't drink too much because of the after-effects,  very hard to be productive the next day with poor sleep quality, brain fog, lack of will power, craving junk food etc.

Personally, alcohol lowers my consciousness. Well how could I know? Cuz that’s what I was aware of every time I drank alcohol. :)

Instead, modafinil, lsd, and meditation raises my consciousness.
I can’t really explain how I know it. It is what it is. So now I try to stay away from alcohol. You’ll get high from alcohol for sure, but the question is how do you define what’s being high. ;)

From my direct experience, the “BEST high” is simply being more and more conscious

Everything can potentially have a spiritual effect depending on how you use it ;) If you haven’t tried modafinil, psychedelic, or done consistent practices of meditation. You simply miss some really good shit which are, in my opinion, much better than alcohol. :x

Only if your shadow is a drinker.

People can "change" when drinking, and I suspect this "new personality" may actually be a suppressed shadow coming out to play (or fight)? Just a theory though...

Yeah. I drink most weekends with my friends when we go out.

Why? Because it’s fun, and life is for enjoying yourself!

Although, when “seeking” I hardly drunk as much, and I had a 3 month break during lockdown, it’s good to have breaks here and there.

And, if you’re going to drink, make sure to prepare, I have hangover pills (god send, taken them last night and this morning and I feel normal already), lemon water, celery juice, cold shower & then a healthy breakfast and pre drinking meal to help minimise the damage and after effects as much as possible!

Also, learn your limits and when you feel your best drinking and go from there!

I personally don't see any benefit in alcohol. And so for years now, I only drink one or tw glasses of red wine a year. For new years or a very special occasion. I don't judge anyone drinking, but I have to be honest that I feel consciousness drop immensely when I drink and likewise around people who drink.

I thought alcohol was lowering my consciousness too. I mean, in literal terms, if you have too much alcohol you will become unconscious, and each level of intoxication blocks out certain aspects of awareness. But i can easily maintain Tier 2 SD consciousness e.g. turquoise, while drunk. So it's not lowering you in that sense. Though i don't know how well it goes with post integral stages.

Edit: actually, i was able to maintain post integral consciousness for a while whilst drinking. Drinking lowers your inhibitions, and makes you more lively. It is that invigoration that can be beneficial for spiritual practice.

I remember somebody once said "alcohol doesn't lower consciousness. It changes consciousness".

I don't drink alcohol nearly at all. Maybe a small quantity twice a year. I stay away from drunk people, they are dumb enough when sober 9_9

If you enjoy to drink alcohol and do it for a celebration of life - why not?

Compare drinking glass of wine with beautiful woman at night and drinking bottle of vodka due to life desperation. It's two completely different stories. Doesn't matter what you do, what is important how do you feel about it. Is it due to lacking of something or due to abundance? It all comes down to "need VS want".

Personally, I don't drink alcohol for 3 years. If I want to have 'state change' fun I can microdose acid for example ?

What a dream, what a joke, love it   :x
