People complicate this way too much. 

The "voice" in your head, your thoughts = Formless consciousness birthing reality.

The "stuff" you see ahead of you= Form, created by the Formless.

The "thing" in between = Your ego.

How "people" and "things" move = Complete MAGIC happening. It's an eternal conjure.

Everything you've experienced in your life is complete magic.
