Healing made my foot fetish dissappear?

7 posts in this topic

I used to get veery stupid and horny when seeing girls attractive feet, even hough culturally it's a more or less widely accepted fetish, sometimes I thought that shit couldn't be normal.

However today I went out to party scene where girls wear heels and all sort of that and I couldn't get excited at all.

I haven't done nofap or anything like that. I do have way less interest in porn (close to none) but I still do it due to habit.

Something has rewired in my brain and is not because of nofap or noporn, which just makes it even more curious. It seems there was a psychological trauma factor in relationship with foot fetish. Kind of fucked up since it seems its a pretty popular fetish. But anyway, at least I know it now and I healed a lot.

Sometimes you just won’t feel horny for a while no matter what you expose yourself too. Horniness comes and goes depending on life circumstances, dating situations, mental health, current preoccupations, etc. If you felt like you’re no longer attracted to feet, give it a few months and see how you feel then. It might come back when you’re feeling a bit better about things.

I notice within myself that stress really affects more horniness levels. If im stressed from work, I can not fap for a week and get by. Diet too, if you have IBS, that can reduce horniness. I also find that going to the gym increases horniness, and if you sit on your ass all day with no exercise, your horniness reduces significantly.

Meditation work does reduce horniness for a period of time, but then it comes back after you've integrated what you've learnt into your life. In other words riding the ox

I've observed that when I imagine my bf and chocolate in the same picture my horniness increases significantly.

According to yourbrainonporn.com there are many studies showing people develop fetishes from porn and end up watching porn that previously wouldn't have appealed to them, and many nofappers report fetishes disappearing, meaning they were porn induced. It seems like either you watching less porn or your healing unwired whatever developed the fetish in your brain.

IME, I used to be much more attracted to feet and submission back when I identified with shame on a personal level (thinking I have a reason to be ashamed). Since fully letting go of that aspect of my shadow, "regular sex" is much more attractive to me compared to fantasies of being ashamed which aren't really exciting anymore. I do think that kinks are symptoms of psychological trauma and letting go of the latter breaks the former. But that's just my experience.
