@Bazooka Jesus He also seemed to have a lot of nightmares and sleep paralysis, so maybe he just naturally inclined toward "the other side" and was experiencing ego backlash--since he did seem to be quite full of himself.

@AtheisticNonduality Well, if Lovecraft was good at one thing, then it was conveying the existential terror of a man who encounters things that his mind is not prepared for... and this might very well have been based on personal experience (of whatever kind).

Btw, how could I forget sharing this little gem? *insert slap on the forehead*
