Yes. I am an unconscious devil.

How do you know that, if you're unconscious?

Doesn't that make you a conscious devil? A zen devil? B|

For anything to appear "as is" you have to be conscious, therefore, we can deduct that unconscious state is impossible. There would be no one there to experience it, IMHO. If there is no experience, then there is nothing outside of it.

That's what we know for sure. And what we don't know, is a sweet mystery :) Thanks for your input!

a shadow is either conscious or unconscious, sometimes both.

That's very interesting. Something you don't hear very often.

Can the shadow be fully conscious of itself but still be the shadow and serve its purpose? Or would you say it would eventually dissolve into the light of consciousness?

What's your relationship like with the shadow?

@Leo Gura How can consciousness become more and more conscious of itself forever?

Isn't that the same as saying it can never truly become fully conscious of itself?

There's neither conscious nor unconscious.

How can it not? That's the nature of Infinity. It has no beginning or end.

It both can and can't. The paradox here is not a bug but a feature of Infinity. Infinity is a strange-loopy thing.

It can be fully conscious of itself. But if you were that conscious, you'd be dead. As long as you're here on Earth, you ain't infinitely conscious.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Consciousness is an infinite field. Like light, it can go from zero to infinite brightness, and everything in between.

Consciousness can become more and more conscious of it itself, reaching infinite levels and infinite orders. Or it can be not conscious of itself.

It's just a single knob that spins infinitely in both directions.

How do you know any of this? Are you just making your world view up?

If awareness is only perceiving existence, does the awareness exist?

Yes?

I have never experienced unconsciousness. But something in me really feels like I have. How could I know this for sure, without being conscious of not being conscious?

Is it simply by the obviousness of me being conscious right now? Does that automatically imply unconsciousness?

Or could unconsciousness be just an assumption? A thought?

What's your take on it?

@ivankiss No no I agree with you, that was not my point. My point is that you can, and probably already had an "aha" moment. You realized that you were doing something because of unconscious reasons and at that point it became conscious. And that you reflect and say "How I couldn't see that, it's so obvious now". That is unconscious.

Yes?

So is awareness the thing it perceives?

"God is not a conclusion, it is a sudden revelation. When you see a rose it is not that you go through a logical solipsism, 'This is a rose, and roses are beautiful, so this must be beautiful.' The moment you see it, the head stops running thoughts. On the contrary, your heart starts running. It is something totally different from the idea of truth." -Osho

Awareness is everything itself. You looking at yourself now. The thing that you look and you is identical. There is no observer or nothing to observe. Just awareness itself. It perceives itself. Because, everything is it.
