The time has come to read The Bhagavad Gita. Could someone please recommend to me which version to read? Thanks

First version I read was from Jack Howley. I could recommend theosophical translations as all of their books are free if you prefer to read as a e-book. https://www.theosophy-ult.org.uk/book-review/bhagavad-gita/

I was reading "Bhagavad-Gita As It Is" translated and commented upon by Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami.

Not sure if I'd recommend it though. It's sexist and somewhat chauvinistic.

Bearing with the conditioned in gentleness, fording the river with resolution, not neglecting what is distant, not regarding one's companions; thus one may manage to walk in the middle. H11L2

has anyone read the Stephen Mitchell version? I've heard good things about that. Ive started reading Eknath Easwaran’s version but its alot of his interpretation rather than the book itself

@andyjohnsonman the tao te ching is fairly good from him. I do not know about the bhagavad gita. It is probably as good too.

Just read many different versions. The message is worth being delivered in different ways. And it's a small book as well.

Really liked Swami Purohit's version

Really good book indeed, I think the most intelligent text I've read, so old too, perhaps nice to order a text book copy given it's profundity
