Understanding?

As we become more conscious our understanding also grows. Can someone elaborate on this more?

@Karas , the way I understand it is that the more conscious you become is the more you know. Understanding something is of mind-thought activity. Being directly aware of something is more intimate then trying to figure it out mentally.

But if you mean understanding in the compassionate sense then yes, as you become more conscious you become more compassionate.
