Worst Philosophy Ever: "Everything Happens for a Reason"

'Worst' is a relative concept.

'Philosophy' is a bunch of thoughts, and it's relative.

'Ever' is a huge underestimation of the unpredictability of reality.

'Everything happens' is an assumption. We can say that nothing happens as well.

'Reason' is a thought connecting two parts of reality in whatever way(s).

That's just one way to debunk this thread and to open your mind for other possibilities beyond where you stopped.

The problem is you can take the above says what ever is being talked about is "relative", copy and paste the above to "debunk" any thread.

"worst" is obviously hyperbole

Obviously many things occur without explanation

Your position is simply nonsensical. Everything can be explained. Pure randomness could not possibly create the universe we live in.

And be  careful with your rhetoric. From my experience, this forum isn't for people who don't think before they post.

You don't understand how evolution works.  It operates randomly as do many mutations. What survives is simply whatever randomly happens to be better suited to arbitrary conditions.

You can come up for an explanation anything you want that does not mean it is truthful or that a truthful explanation even exists.
Explanations are mental constructs, abstractions
Nature doesn't create anything. It is creation and creation does not operate by use of explanation. it's a process

hahahahha you completely misunderstand evolution. Undergrad mistake.

Saying neural networks or evolutionary algorithms mimic biological evolution is like saying the pyramids in los vegas mimic the real pyramids in Egypt.

The devil is in the details, look carefully at what evolution actually is. Its a creative, intelligent process

Randomness is in of itself intelligent.

Randomness and design are paradoxically intertwined.

Two sides of the same coin.

Everything happens for a reason is simultaneously true and false.

The key here which makes it a security blanket or not is if you cling to one side and have not integrated both.

There are some good books on the booklist on evolution.  Are you open to the possibility that Darwin's theory of Evolution by natural selection might not be the case?

Is there an alternative scientific explanation?

are you not intelligent? Are you not the result of randomness? And evolution theory doesnt really explain anything, it describes the happenings, where it all come no one knows.

Yes.

Randomness produces design, design produces randomness.

Something produces nothing, nothing produces something.

Which part of the circle you align with well depends where you put the magnifying glass if you haven't dropped the glass itself.

I believe this statement, I mean, how big is your head? You think everything revolves around you? Lmfao. What are you? God? We love to create meaning to justify our actions.

I disagree life unfolds in a state of random chaos

then we adapt to it and label the adaptation as "reason"

Is there really a need to use an offensive language here? What do you think you will "convince" him of in that way?

The world is your mirror so if you see order and meaning you get and see more order and meaning. If you see chaos you get chaos.

@Nak Khid Is delusion part of order or chaos?
