but where does the tree end and the apple begin? they are the same being until the apple detaches from the tree. Is the apple not still the tree because of the connection at the stem? when the stem is severed they become separate, but what has changed?

Good post.

Otherwise the individual tends to think it's somehow more than the individual, but it isn't.

The body-mind personality is a perception which is completely absent 'there'.

In the same way the universe isn't created out of imagination (albeit it is imagination), as that seems to imply someone imagining a universe really hard and then creating it.

It just appears out of itself with no volition at all, it appears out of profound magicness nothing,

albeit it does consciously care for itself thereafter.

There is no God, in any sense that would imply an 'other'.   There is no God of what IS.  There just IS, THIS.

Because I thought the thread has reached to a conclusion? I think it's done.

Exactly. And I see that by saying God, this is where some try to point to. But it doesn't help, and to say it's ultimately true is just another concept, which confuses many people. I get now why certain mystics talked the way they did - or didn't want to talk at all. At some point you have to cut off the very underlying mind that tries to get anywhere else than HERE.

Ivankiss who started the topic says God is not you
but Leo and may others say God is you
so there is not conclusion

Maybe Ivanskiss can elaborate on where we're at

So true ?...The Mind runs on its own conditioned program like muscle memory. One can sit in Conscious awareness and observe the ego doing its thing.  We think we are controlling its thoughts but we aren't... it just runs on autopilot. ❤

I'm not God because I can't dissolve the universe and create a new one. I can't even manifest a gf or a pen from thin air. And I can't give myself super vision so I could get rid of my glasses.

Simple as that.

What if you realized you already were the universe and there's nothing outside of you? ?

You assume that the universe was created rather than always existed

How do you know you don't have free will?

You may not have free will but you can set an intention within the material/relative realm.

The "I" that you are referring to is your conditioned character aka false self. You don't have free will because it's not you. It runs on conditioned autopilot mode going in circles.(Suffering)

Discovering the true self as conscious awareness, that which is prior to thought. You can sit back and observe the ego run on this conditioned autopilot mode I describe.

When you stop identifying with this false conditioned self, Its the end of suffering. Isn't this what you're seeking?
