Does Leo way self actualization is feminine

48 posts in this topic

As I begin to self actualization and take Leo as a mentor I encounter great shift from where I was, but the way it takes me is more of my feminine side, I was an alpha male strong and energetic, but when I start actualizing about love and oness it is making more weak, and perceived as weak even though I am energetic and powerfull people doesn't respect me because my bigger tolerance, I think Leo teaching should be embarrassed with eliot hussle kind mentor.

As osho said

A true spritual person is a person who hold both the lamp and sword ⚔.

A person who is samurai.

A monk and a warrior.

What do you think?

You need to be what you were made to be .

Don't copy others only take what they say and view it as just that there perspective.

@Conscious life You need to balance both side otherwise it will cause you problems in relationships

Who teaches us whats real and how to laugh at lies? Who decides why we live and what we'll die to defend?Who chain us? And who holds the Key that can set us free?

It's you.

You have all the weapons you need

Now fight.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Leo's teachings in this particular respect.

If you need to learn toughness or fighting, you could search for a teacher who specialises in those things.

I don't see what your problem is. You say you don't like being perceived and feeling your feminine side yet you quote Osho where he says that a truly spiritual person is both. Feminine and masculine, the lamp and the sword, the monk and the warrior. Eliot focusses too much on the warrior archetype. He forgets the magician, lover and king.

@Conscious life The sword is a reference to Jesus, and is not an actual sword, but the power of the gospel. Truth cuts through all. First know and understand the gospel, then illuminate courageously with it.

True Love is ruthless, it is the Destroyer of all Worlds. Love is inherently indiscriminate, it wields the sword of the merciless as much as it gives shelter to those who are in need of it.

The Feminine and the Masculine are not better or worse, they are forces of Existence. They are in an eternal balance, in a play between the great Mother and the great Father.

Both forces will eventually lead to your dissipation. This is beyond your ego, beyond your individual needs and wants. You are playing a game that will eventually lead to your death, your inability to accept that will be the degree to which you will suffer in this world. Stop viewing the Feminine and Masculine as that which serves you, and accept that it is you who is inevitably serving the Feminine and the Masculine.

You are the ant who has confused itself for the colony.

Fundamentally, suffering is the question of "What can God do for me?", whilst Liberation is the question of "What can I do for God?".

@Nahm no I am not talking about Jesus or bible, I saying what osho is referring. A sumari man.

@Neorez not Jungian Psychology. I am talking about samurai.

Could it be that you feel insecure about yourself and that's the reason you feel the need to prove yourself as this strong alpha male? Even the strongest of them all is still vulnerable.

@Conscious life I think you have a too romantic view about who the samurai were. The way of the samurai is of no use in the current society! Maybe you should ask yourself why feminity is so threatening?  Why are you so afraid to be seen as weak? Why does it bother you? I think there's a lot to contemplate here.

Don't expect people here to understand you. It doesn't matter whether you feel insecure or not. You being strong and "like a samurai" is your survival strategy. It is partly because of your genes and your environment (family and living in 3rd world country).  People who dismiss your "masculinity" and labeling you as insecure are either women, soyboys, never been abused in childhood, live in a safe country, or a combination of these things.

Take your "masculinity" with you in your spiritual path. Don't abandon it. People are different. There are businessman, nerd, introvert, extrovert, warrior, sportsman, middlemen, negotiator, leader, follower types, etc. Be true to yourself along your spiritual path. Being loving and kind doesn't mean being weak. You can be strong, dominant, and set boundaries to protect yourself and people who rely on you, and being kind and understanding at the same time. That is a good balance of "masculinity" and "femininity". You can be more effective this way. All types of people including the badasses and criminals will respect you and will even imitate you. You will set a good example. But remember, something as good as this is very difficult to achieve. But you must try.

Always be true to yourself. Don't abandon your "masculinity". If you reach a stage where you need to abandon it, it should be natural, not forced.

What a devil calls strength is actually weakness, and what he calls weakness is actually strength.

You realize you're a devil yet? ;)

Although, self-actualization will inevitavly spiral you upwards and eventually move you further away from the display type of alpha existence riddled with insecurities - which you display here and recognize being an asset in the world you experience - into a truer alpha existence where love and compassion shine with absolute security. It is inevitable.

As you indicate yourself, living in a third world country means a society at a lower spiral dynamics stage which will eventually cause some friction between you and your surroundings. You can still be a social cameloeont from that respect but it will not be healthy unless you get rid of the cognative dissonace that you have started to feel through fully accepting your consciousness evolution that is at play.

@Conscious life be careful with Elliott’s teaching. I know Elliott personally (I used to coach at Strength Camp) and he’s a great guy with many admirable characteristics. However, over the last few years he’s fallen head first into this “men’s rights” activism trap. Crusading for groups like red pill and mgtow which are simply forms of collective ego backlash towards the excesses of stage green that is present today on the liberal side of our culture...

Elliott’s great but take what he says with big ole pinch of salt as he is still very ego driven. Much more so than Leo.

Embracing the feminine and loving doesn’t make one weak. In fact it makes one stronger. You and whoever is perceiving you as “weak” just aren’t evolved enough to realize it yet.

Keep actualizing bro
