Science becoming interdisciplinary

1 post in this topic

This is pretty cool. CSUN which stands for California State University Northridge is my Alma Matter and they've just been given a grant to study artificial intelligence. Now notice this quote.

“At the core of the research center will be deep interdisciplinary collaboration,” Ho said. “In this day and age, researchers and scientists cannot stay in their boxes if they want to be forward thinking and innovative. We will embrace convergence research as a culture for doing research. This means that for all projects that we work on, we will connect expertise, methods and knowledge from different disciplines and create new approaches to solve complex problems motivated by societal needs.”

That means that what we're talking about here that spirit of non-duality is beginning to manifest itself in the world. People are starting to notice that we just can't cordon off things from each other like science, mathematics, art, and humanity. They are all in a sense entwined with each other. I like where this is going.
