What advice would you give to someone who is in their twenties?

What should I start learning first?

What are so common missbeliefs?

What are the basics that I should have about emotions and going through life?

How counterintuitive is life?

Does Law of Atraction really works?

What are some good books that I could read to set up a solid foundation?

How do I create a powerful,confident ego?

How do you create motivation when you have nothing and you're sad and depressed all the time?

Those of you who have stories to share, please tell me,I want to make my life as good as possible.

I'm just overcoming my porn addiction-50 days free(it's harder that you believe if you're addicted for 10 years+).

I am already meditation daily, what else can I do to be as good as Leo?

@Name To address the rapid fire questions, I will give you some of my own personal rapid fire answers:

  • I would advise to really study life and yourself deeply.
  • Question what you want out of life? What constitutes a good life? Is it money? Power? Fame? Charisma?
    • I won't give you my answer. It must come from yourself, internally. Finding it out for yourself is a part of the process.
  • Learn to overcome your neurotic behaviours and addictions.
  • Choose your own values. Choose your own path. Do NOT live according to anyone elses standards.
  • You must have a strong vision for your life, that emotionally charges you everyday and motivates you to achieve your goals.

I'll leave the list there. Good luck :)

@Name I am 20 too! My journey into self-actualization started when I was 17. I didn't know why I should pretend being happy or that things were ok in my life because I had nothing. I was a drug dealer getting high with people I called friends, but realized they were just depressed and anxious people too. What@Knock says is golden. Being curious about who I really am and questioning my identity is not fun, but it puts Me, Ego, in the spotlight which reveals a lot. Meditation is great. Porn was a problem for me too, but now my addiction is food. I fill the void, the emptiness, with whatever I can get. Money never comes easy. Guilt, shame, and fear can overwhelm me at times. What is key is VISION. What do you want to create? What are the results you want to create in your life? I want to be a singer that integrates mastery with spirituality, high consciousness awareness, and profound insights. I see myself performing in front of thousands of people, inspiring them to become the creative force in their own lives. But here I am. I have a long way to go. I work at this every day. I bought a singing course from a world renowned vocal coach, I spend 1-2 hours, 5 days a week doing vocal workouts and exercises. I sing to my favorite songs and bands. I listen to music. I play guitar, and I am in the process of creating my first song in a professional studio setup. I now need to write lyrics and sing for this new song. It's scary. It's invigorating. It's challenging. It's worth it. On top of it all, I am reading books and doing the Life Purpose Course (I recommend purchasing if and when you get enough money, I know how hard it can be as a young man like us in society). Does it get to be to much? Do I get lost? Not with a clear vision. That will keep you on track. I found this out myself. Skipping out on meditation or visualization isn't worth it, it only makes you feel worse about your life. Keep on. Another thing: Don't strive to be like Leo, BE YOU. Be the BEST you that you can be. Before we know it, there won't be a "You" or "Me" at all.

Hey I know what it feels like to be in this stage. I'm 21.

The greatest mistake I've made was FEAR ! Yes.

Fear of making a mistake, fear of not doing the perfect decisions, fear of change , fear of leaving wrong relationships.

Take courage now ! Experiment . Do not be afraid to do wrong things . You have this time now to take wrong paths.

One of the most important things to do in this age where we have the necessary energy is to know how to handle our body/emotions/mind. In my opinion this is the most important sadhana you can do right know apart of what you are going to do materially with your life.

It is really awesome to hear people your age speaking so intelligently. Self awareness is the key to life, it keeps expanding forever. There is no goal to it, it just is. And yes, I agree fear is the enemy.

I would give my 20 year old self this advice.

Look into Buddhism.

That would have been enough to get me started I think.

Play well my friends

David
