Humans are earth so that's like saying humans don't deserve themselves.

Human are part of the Earth

cancer cells are also a part of us, doesn't stop the cancer from spreading to the point of killing the host altogether;) (if they get out of hand... managed they don't cause any meaningful damage...)

Who is the one to judge this?

What qualifications does one need to judge this?

Under what ruleset?

What decides these criteria?

What decides the criteria to decide criteria?

On to infinity.

Its pointless to try and argue who does or doesn't deserve what. Its a fantasy to escape from what is.

We can continue to grovel, berate and insult humanity, or inspire change to the world we want to see.

@passerby I don't agree with all the damage human are causing, but change is a part of life.

And although I know how the Earth is our home and it gives us many good things, it can also be a ruthless monster!

Saying we don't deserve our home is not fair I think!

criterias?

"Criteria" is the plural form of criterion. You don't need "s" at the end.

Fixed, although this is quite a bit pedantic.

We better kill all the sharks then.

But then whales will be too good, so then we have to kill the whales too.

But then the dolphins will be too good, so then we have to kill the dolphins too.

We must kill all life. Because according to some people those who are on top of the food chain doesn't deserve to live.

nature doesn’t take anything personally, it’s true the strongest survive, that’s life. I feel as though we humans are more or less shepherds of life on this planet, this is our purpose as a collective species. The more who realize this, the sooner transformations will take place

@passerby conciousness is stronger. Don't worry, we wont kill ourselves. We are already being aware of the damage done to the planet, is a star.

Currently human beings are like parasites to the Earth in the same way the maggot is to the apple. But the interesting thing about our species is that we have the potential to be a symbiote as well.

Our technology can destroy the planet, but it can also help it as well.

It's really just a collective choice that must be made to do the more challenging talk of living in harmony with nature and bringing science and innovation into that harmony as well.
