Mark my words; Trump 2020 is a real possibility

Here is what I have found in contemplation.  The truth is that there are billions of people in this world who are suffering.  If these people had the choice to go to any country of their choice, we would still have billions of people suffering, even if they all chose the U.S.  I know many people who have suffered and thought going elsewhere would change their lives for the better, to no avail.  Love.....There are many people who love their children and cause trauma to them, me included, we still neglect, cause physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual harm to them and we still Love them.  Empathy....I empathize with many people, and I spend much of my time helping those in need.  It is the ego which say's your empathy is better than mine.   I don't think I am arguing, only stating facts and sharing thoughts, and not attempting to change anyone's views....ARE YOU?  The reason you think it is arguing is because my thoughts and facts don't fit your narrative.  The collective is best when the fortunate go outward and expand.

What is a thought?

What is mine?

What is yours?

Who is the owner of thoughts and facts?

What is a collective consciousness?

What is empathy?

What is expansion?

We often have assumptions about what  words mean without even realizing it. Contemplating these questions at an existential level can lead to insights.

There is an underlying energy motivating you to keep returning to the forum. There is something here for you. I don't know what that is, yet I encourage you to be open to it. Sometimes during growth there is a "pull" toward something, yet we can't quite put our finger on it. During my path, there have been times when I could tell there was a "something", yet I didn't quite know what that "something" was. . . For example, when I first joined the forum I was very scientifically-minded. I've been trained as a scientist for entire adult life. When people spoke non-scientifically it seemed like irrational "woo woo" stuff. Paranormal, Spirits, Reincarnation, Past lives, Noah's Ark, Magic was all airy fairy nonsense. . . When I came across Leo, I knew there was something different about him, yet I didn't know what it was. He understood science and could communicate logically/rationally, yet there was also something else beyond science/logic/rationality that got me curious. . . I remember we got into a conversation about "What is intelligence"? I had a very scientific/logical view on intelligence and tried to tell Leo what intelligence is.  Leo kept pressing down on my definition. I became aware that he was aware of something I was unaware of. Yet I didn't know what it was. That question of "What is intelligence" kept appearing in my mind over and over. During walks in nature, while cooking, in the shower. . . "What is intelligence?". Then I really wanted to know. That opened up the door. I started genuinely asking "What is intelligence?" to Leo and I got some breadcrumbs as I got stuck. Then new insights arose. This was one of the events that helped me transcend my scientific paradigm. Importantly, there was some deeper desire to keep returning to the forum. In hindsight, I now know it wasn't to convince Leo and others what Intelligence is - the deeper desire was that I wanted to find that "something" I knew deep down I was missing and could sense that others had. . .

I don't know what your question is, yet my sense is that there is a deeper "something" happening here and that you may find - beneath the surface of thought stories of democrats vs republicans.  If so, it is much more magnificent than the thought stories at the surface. The fish below the waves are extraordinary.

@tenta Not sure how you get away with that............?

It's impossible you don't realize the contradiction between saying you cause trauma and suffering to your children but still love them, then saying you aren't virtue signalling or propping up your own empathy by saying "we still love them", ofc you are, to make up for "neglect, cause physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual harm to them"

This is from a popular online sportsbook-I had to laugh at this.

Will Trump Tweet Any Of George Carlin’s 7 Dirty Words Before Jan. 1, 2020?

Winner

No-1000

I believe that Politics is a dog and pony show, or rather, like a staged WWF wrestling match. It's all made-up and beforehand prepared and scripted conflicts! Take the recent Pelosi Trump impeachment affair. Both Trump and Pelosi are acting, they are playing roles out of a script. Just like a WWF wrestling match.

Nevertheless, politics has real consequences and something I'm curious about is the FISA report that will be published soon. That too I think is a part of the staged saga, BUT it can act as a catalyst for cleaning up real corruption, so it's more than just entertainment. And with a Watergate level scandal like that Trump will easily win in 2020.

Mark my words; Trump 2020 is a real inevitability.

Is self deception to think otherwise.

I don't like it either, i am just surrendering to reality.

You are bastardizing the notion of self-deception.

The real self-deception here is thinking you know anything about the future.

The truth here is very simple: nobody knows what will happen in 2020 until it happens. Everything here is guesswork and speculation.

It is okay to speculate sometimes. But at least be honest with yourself that you are speculating.

Claiming that something as dicey as the 2020 election is inevitable is the very definition of self-deception and goes against everything I teach.

Accept that you just don't know. That is truthful.

You are not surrendering to reality here, you are constructing fantasies and confusing them for reality.

I don't know, but I haven't seen enough evidence that people who voted for Trump will stop supporting him, if Joe biden keeps the lead he has and is the nominee I doubt Trump will lose

That might be an opinion of more weight if there was any data behind it.
Because there is an entire year and so many event that could occur between now and then to go to guess now is just trolling.

Polls are not always accurate but they are much better than nothing.

When Trump becomes president, it will seem silly that you thought he'd lose or that you were sure about it

@ugreglo @Arcangelo be careful, because you just may have designed a reality before you were born where you make all these "predictive" claims about trump only to be proven wrong, in order to learn about the danger of thinking you know things that you don't actually know! xD

Consider this: What will grow you more? A reality where you get what you want and get to indulge in "I told you so" auto-fellating? or a reality where you have to learn a very painful and humbling lesson about going around publicly acting like you know everything, promoting hate and engaging in deceit...?

Think about where you got your ideas and why  you adopted them.
(although this is literally how you learn, so maybe it's necessary and the only possibility)

That's exactly the problem you will suffer from if you think Trump will lose because "a devil cannot win in the long run" or some belief about karma

I am not hoping Trump will win so I am proven right, but if he does win it will be a more painful shock to people who were saying he was gonna lose
