Psychedelics Before or After

Would you guys recommend taking a psychedelic (mushrøøms) a couple days before or after a vipassana retreat ?

You could probably get some pretty deep work done if you do it before. On the other hand you might be ready to go even deeper Into the psychedelic experience if you do it after. Both sounds good to me

thinking about this one too. I'm going for a retreat next month. I probably do it afterwards.

You could do both. If you think you can handle it of course.

after. not from experience speaking, but you dont know if your trip gets hairy.

If it turns out into a bad trip, a vipassana retreat would be too hard to do I think. After bad trip, you dont want to meditate on this :) you want to chill out and do something else but not something spiritual

When i do psychedelics, I prefer a the wild-secluded location, surrounded by nature where i have a good week or two to myself.

This i find is most effective.

You'll have an ego back-lash after 10 days of Meditation, so doing it before it might be a better idea.

I had done acid one week after the retreat in the woods with a new person, which I met a the retreat, and it was still alright but I guess it's a subjective thing.
