Is Bi-Sexuality A Spectrum?

13 posts in this topic

Can you be a little gay but very straight? Serious question even if I sound a bit silly. Please answer?

Yep!  A good percentage of people fall somewhere on the bisexuality spectrum.
I'm straight in that I only want relations with men, but I find women to be more attractive than men and I like to look at them.

Thats what I thought... I know Ive had some gay feelings a few times in my life... I just shrugged it off though, Im not attracted to men physically though.

i'd say nearly everything is a spectrum, especially this. Seemingly nothing remains constant on a spectrum either, from my experience.

I think most heterosexual women are this way, unless they are too affected by jealousy. Women are enchanting.

I see what you mean. Interesting how we have always been so black and white about sexuality.

The only bisexual people I have met have been in their teens or 20's. I haven't met a bisexual over 30. Why is that?

It’s funny I’ve not really dated much in the past few years, literally not even speaking to woman other than saying a few words to some friendly banter, but recently there was a gay dude who didn’t come off as gay but started complimenting me in a grocery store and he was the most charasmatic dude I’d spoken to in a long time and I’m embarrassed to admit I gave him my number because I wasn’t sure if he was just being friendly and spoke of playing tennis etc. when I later realized he had been complimenting my body a lot I was like wow I was completely absorbed by his charisma. Just the other night he spotted me again and brought up me consiee becoming a stripper and how much he’d pay me etc and I was much more grounded and handled this much better, thanking him for his compliments and saying I wasnt interested. Am I bisexual?  Not at this time but he sure made me seriously question my interest and attraction toward guys. Spiritual work as definitly brought out my feminine side but this is still being integrated back. A female companion will help with this xD

The higher the consciousness, the less the ego, the more beauty you see in all life shape/forms, sexual preference becomes obsolete.

Yes. I am bi-sexual but have a stronger preference for men... probably about an 80/20 split if I were to try to quantify it.

"There is a bit of overfocusing on my sexuality, both by the straight press and the gay press, and so the first question is why do they care? Well, because I’m a celebrity, so I guess they care who I’m having sex with. But if your definition of gay and straight is who I sleep with, then I guess you could say I’m a gay c—k tease. It’s where my allegiance lies, where my sensibilities lie, how I define myself. Yeah, I’m a little gay, and there’s a gay James."

Youre comment reminded me of the James Franco quote above which I remember appreciating at the time when he said it.

I've described myself to others as a psychologically gay, heterosexual.

100% straight, that's why I had to really project myself, talking to gay people etc..

I would go so far as kissing a men, but that caused me "no attractive emotion", only like kissing dad or a friend ( nothing special ), even if that's on the mouth, I don't feel any pleasure from kissing a man ( I already did ), I ve never been attracted to any men in a sexual manner. ( not even fantasy about )

gay porn or shemale as always been a big no no.

so I tryed my gayness, nothing to scope.

I would be more worry for my obsessive drawings of girls ( my girlfriend probably is )
