What is The True Objective?

4 posts in this topic

What is objectivity, really? Is it seeing from other points of view?

I mean, everything experienced is from a subjective point of view so how can something be really objective? Even if we see from the other perspectives, for example a rock, we'll say it's a Rock, and that's objective? But for animals, or those who don't know what a rock is, it is not a rock. So then it becomes subjective again.

Is objectivity just a form of collective agreement? A sort of collective subjectivity? Or is it transcending all perspectives?

Subjectivity and objectivity are two sides of the same coin. Everything is subjective so true objectivity is just your own subjective experience.

@Solonius So when I'm being biased that means I'm objective...? Doesn't make sense.

Its still inside your subjective experience. Depends on what frame you want to start from also.
