I think Forrest Gump is an amazing movie which illustrates how beautiful going with the flow can be.

Especially that feather floating at the start and at the end of the movie.

The filmmaker does a fantastic job of explaining enlightenment in a clear manner.

Yes this film is about as clear as it can get and was identical to my own experience on almost every topic!!

The Razor's Edge, a pet project by Bill Murray, whose other movie about awakening, Groundhog Day, was already mentioned.

The movie is based on a W. Somerset Maugham novel of the same name, which is even better. For those of you that still read, any W. Somerset Maugham novel is a transcendent experience, though Razor's Edge is specifically about awakening.

Though not strictly about awakening, Gandhi should also be mentioned here as well as the Celestine Prophecies and Nosso Lar (Astral City: Spiritual Journey), which is about the afterlife. I would also list Metropolis here, even though it is really, really (like 1930s) old school.

A great one that I just remembered from years ago is “The Secret Window” with Johnny Depp

Great movie about self deception, ego and the illusory self.

Another one is called “”Unknown” with Liam Neeson.
