My personal ways

- feel free to share yours.

- get list of things ( liberate your working memory )

- meditation when loud emotion arise ( add a personnal mantra ).

- self inquiry on your émotional trigger

- read or draw before sleep ( or podcast / asmr )

pitchBlack room - sleep at night.

- avoid drugs that makes you crash

- Diserve a full day of updating the paperwork.

( still integrating .. )

- sleep on a proper schedule

- take care of foods that cause upset stomach

- get knowledge about your own mind & enlightenment

- don't be hateful at society to not work well with you ( very hard )

- avoid all SSRI - dopamine easy ( or only for a week if you can't. )

- certain variety of weed work for certain situations. 

( But addiction is too easy for adhd ) ( very hard to integrate. I would only allow myself to smoke at noon & because I m into mental work. )

- increase by will your power of focus on one thing ( still integrating and working on -  )

Are you currently on any medications, specifically stimulants? I have suffered a lot because of side effects and also excessive use related to these kind medications. I couldn't do my spiritual work on them either. Now I'm on Wellbutrin but that's a very weak drug and doesn't help much with cognition or motivation towards activities like studying. I feel much better since i quit stimulants though.

No I always favored weed for spiritual or mind work. But for physical or paperwork. I would use coffee at morning after a good meal. Stay out of it as I can. It help focus. It's lesser than a ritalin focus but side effects are tolérable and you don't feel corrupted.

Try to find a coffee that work. Clean your life of what distract you. And try to gamify borring things.

Spécific type of weed or coffee some work better for add symptoms I find.

If coffee makes you anxious. You prob dose too much.

Sleep is very very important for everyone. But for add.

Don't get an empty day. Always work until you tired at night. ( Don't oversleep neither )

like forgetting keys and 'thought story' while someone speak to you. Coffee is enough to me since inquiry and less focusing on ideas of possible futur.

I would avoid meds that up or block dopamine. ( Weed doesn't really ).

Self inquiry helped finding my way to work. And trying everyday to work on the idea of 'focusing'.

Also some nootropics can work. But I would say It's more spécific and subject to self trial and error. Some stacks would work just fine with no side effects. ( Carnitine - reishi mushroom ..  )
