How do you explain astral projection/planes of "reality"?

According to Leo, the brain dont exist, so thinking that certain part of the brains are the responsible of astral travels, no self-experience and enlightenment is bullshit .

I disagree and I'm more inclined to the theory that enlightenment is just a brain hallucination.

Don't conflate relative and absolute.

Illusions are useful in illusions.

It's the same as lucid dreaming

Could say that in a sense yes, in another sense no. But still that doesnt explain much either. This physical plane is in a way also a dream (that you can become lucid in).

The question is why the ego seems to have access to all these different planes of dreams (and seems to have a "body/vehicle" for each of them), if the illusion of separation between the ego and the absolute doesnt go way deeper than many nondualists seem to grasp.

It is rare phenomenon so we should not be surprised by such an attitude.

Can you expand this statement:

Mm sure its rare but every human has the ability to learn the practice. Seems like a few people (like myself) just have an easier time doing it naturally, for unknown reasons.

This stuff has been practiced and recorded by human beings for as long as history goes, and every healthy humanbeing can learn it, some easier than others.

What Im wondering is why the forms of this "reality" seems to have different layers/planes to it. And why we as egos can experience this if we only exist as either the illusion of physical form or the absolute/god.

I would think it's only an assumption that we become God when we die. Maybe we don't. Maybe, as long as you are an ego you are just bound to be identified with a body, be that a gross or a subtle-mental/astral body. So maybe you are identified with some kind of body even after death. Then it's not 'physical body or God', but 'any kind of body or God'. it may become more clear when you remind yourself that 'matter'/the 'physical' body can't and doesn't produce consciousness.

The easiest way to explain this is by adopting the perspective of nondualism. So you, as God, create all the interconnected illusions in which you experience yourself in infinite forms and planes. But it is too much a simplification.

Yes. I mean sure we are gods imagination, but what says god didnt already imagine that these forms/egos we call humans remain separated and just change into another dream/dimension after physical death (maybe stuff like karma might come into play here determining where we go)?
