Where to find long-term meditation centers?

Where can I find a place where I can live with monks and meditate all day or at least for a couple of hours each day? I've searched a lot but there are only retreats that are during like two days up to two weeks but none where I can go and live with monks! I'd prefer to not have to pay many thousands of dollars since I don't have that kind of money but I am more than willing to do work for my stay as well as pay like 2 000 dollars for whatever, since that is how much I've got saved up atm... Any ideas?

Or you ordain in a monastery in Asia. That will be almost for free
