How does becoming enlightened help solve the worlds problems?

19 posts in this topic

Why is enlightenment so crucial if you want to ease the suffering of others and find permanent solutions to humanities problems? Do non dual people even perceive problems? Why wouldn't enlightenment make you indifferent to the dualistic world?

@Onecirrus You've found a fantasized belief about enlightenment. Enlightenment does not make the world any better. Enlightenment is knowing what the world is.

If you want to make the world a better place, then work on your mental patterns. Find out what is toxic and what is not. Let go of harmful thoughts, words and acts. This is the path of purification, which is different from enlightenment.

@Onecirrus Because God Will flow through you.

You are exactly where you need to be. Nothing in your life happens without reason. You May look at it as divine Orchestration.

You are on right path. Know you are loved. Be Love and you Will figure things out, eventually. ?❤️

@Onecirrus Actualized.org is but one example of enlightenment helping the world solve it's problems. Are you in?

@Onecirrus It is crucial because all of humanities "problems" stem from the inner neurosis of the mind, the assumption of being a separate individual self.

@Onecirrus first off great question.

Keep in mind that God is Love.  It has no oppistite..  Evil only happens/exists when one isn't conscious they are God.

For all of humanity to awaken is for God to awaken himself fully by awakening all of his parts.

Wisdom.  Truth.  Love.

@Onecirrus when you are happy you will make others too happy. If you are miserable you project your misery and suffering on others as well.So that's the message.

But selfrealisation doesn't solve the poverty, disease and other worldly issues that is all the problems related to the body.So one have take care of earning, family, health and all other issues with a much better clarity and calmness.

Like ajasatya said purity of mind also is parallely important in the path .

which is emphasized by traditional masters and overlooked by the modern I guess.

All problems are relative then?

Mate how can we talk about anything when nothing exists? If you want to improve the dream then start donating to charities, but also acknowledge that realizing your true nature will make you as loving (and as powerful) as Jesus [God in the flesh]

@Onecirrus Here's a straight up enlightened view of how the world can heal itself if it chooses to. Whether it chooses to or not is totally up to the world.

When the world disappears, what problems are left to solve? ;)

Problems only occur within the relative domain, as a function of survival. They are important to solve, but only from the relative domain. From the Absolute nothing needs solving.

The most powerful way of solving a problem is by realizing it's not even a problem.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Leo Gura Finally you’ve come round to it. How many times did I say this? And you labelled me a zen devil.

Well, at least you understand now. That’s good.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

I have not come around to anything.

You are still conflating relative & absolute domains.

Notice the nuance in how I phrased things.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Leo Gura do you not agree that the world is an illusion, only happening in our minds? The starving children in Africa are just images in your mind. They don’t exist in a material world.

@Onecirrus

Imagine someone whose hands are terribly shaking, trying to reach their mouth with a spoon. That's most people, unenlightened.

How can you solve the world problems when you are the biggest problem?

@How to be wise He called you a zen devil because you putsue enlightenment for self serving reasons. That self Will never get enlightened.

Who gets enlightened, mostly Saints sages monks good hearted pure honest people.

Why is that you might ask. Reason is God is Love and Truth and self is a lie and Self denial. God is also totally selfless.

Do practises and you Will get it. All answers are within.

It doesn"t.

@Onecirrus Perhaps start with formulating and expressing what you define as your most immediate problems. Then be open to other ways of interpreting those, and open to practices that have worked for millions of people for thousands of years.
