@ajasatya I don't quite understand what you mean. My subjects are: english, mathematics, german and psychology.

example: start a blog and teach what you have to learn. teaching is the best way to organize mental content.

I think some of the best tips is:

Focus with high intensity free of distractions.

to understand something teach it(or pretend to teach it)

to get good at it practice it.

for memory look up retrieval practice.

take breaks seriously to recharge your energy to avoid burnout.

have a productive system. Take control of your time. Know deadlines in advance and prepare for them in advance instead of the last minute.

I recommend checking out how to become a straight a student by cal newport

to get good at language if the goal is speaking spend a lot of time on actually speaking the language as practice.

@LoveandPurpose the time spend studying doesn’t actually matter that much what matters is how you spend that time. To reduce study time focus instead on increasing your intensity of focus. But you can get more done by with intense focus and a lot of hours if you can keep it up.

You can try chronic meditation like you would at a retreat. If you lose focus on work just go back to meditation. If your ego gets tired of being abused in such a way it will want to go back to studying. This creates a lot of focus if you do it correctly. Because you will eventually be too scared to not focus because that means abuse of the ego or mental pain.

@Truth Addict yeah definitely yeah could on to something there dude.

And that boredom is stemming from fear.

And that fear is stemming from love.

And that love is our nature but it's unorganised and misguided, so there you go, that's the root issue.

We should love ourselves.

@Charlotte

Fear does not necessarily have to be frightening. Boredom is already a form of fear, and we experience it all the time.

I think what you wanted to say is how can you face that fear?

If so, then I'm not sure there's a formula to do that.

But here are some things that worked for me:

  • Acceptance of the present moment.
  • Letting go of the past and future.
  • Questioning my desires to death.
  • Finding out that I can enjoy every single activity if I stop listening to the thoughts (thought makes experience suck! Feel the experience for what it is).
  • Meditation of course, long walking sessions.
  • How to overcome fear? Stop thinking, take action immediately (bravery).

I hope that gives you some insight..

^_^

Studying techniques?

You don't understand something unless you can explain it to a layperson.
Rehash your theory by explaining it to an imaginary friend and note the parts where you have trouble with clarity.
Those are the parts you need to focus on.

When it comes to practical side of things - practice. Do stuff.
Don't memorize solutions, make them from scratch and theory is your scratch.

Bearing with the conditioned in gentleness, fording the river with resolution, not neglecting what is distant, not regarding one's companions; thus one may manage to walk in the middle. H11L2
