Help me interpret this instruction. (Kryia yoga)

Step four in "Om Japa" for kryia yoga says "repeat step 3 for the second third 4th and 5th chakras and medulla. Pauae...once for Chakra duration at medulla..."

What does it mean "[pause] once for chakra duration" 

What does "chakra duration" mean here?

@NoSelfSelf but it also says to pause before you chant as you go back down the chakras after medualla

I think it means pause before the Medulla and after the Medulla.

...om, om, om, pause, om at the medulla, pause, om...
