full on ed at age of 21 may need a penile implant how to cope

9 posts in this topic

Im 21 and I have had full on ed since april of 2017. I have had blood tests done nofap improved my testosterone levels and many other things to rule out other causes. The only other things that could result in this is scar tissue in my penis or my pelvic floor being too tight. I am currently seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist. If this does not work I will need a penile implant, you can google it if you dont know what that is, it is something no one would ever want done. I am on the verge of suicide right now and will not be able to go on if my future doesnt include having sex. I have  nervous breakdown about this nearly every day and cannot focus on anything without the thought of my broken dick going through my head. I cant have a relationship with a women either because it has turned me into a needy insecure beta male. How could I possibly cope with this horrible fate. Thanks

@ds300 I can't imagine how difficult this situation feels. I'm sorry. As a general advice, I think the fixation on sex is understandable (as there's a lot of self-image, societal pressure and stuff tied to it) but you should seek to find value in life beyond sex. It's an unhealthy fixation, which is causing a lot of misery due to the problem you have in that department. Counselling/therapy could be good because this is a lot to deal with. Anything that can shift your perspective from sex being the focal point of happiness in life will be helpful, because sex doesn't equal happiness. It can also give you a healthier more balanced self-esteem which will help you find an actual relationship. The implant matter is understandably scary and wrong-feeling. Perhaps a reframe is of some use. For example, a person in a wheelchair could see their being in a wheelchair as a disability, or, they could see it as an empowering thing, as something that gives them the ability to overcome their limitations.

@ds300 How ya feel about yourself? Aside from the horrible (sorry to hear) symptom, how in the last year, have you been feeling about yourself? Happy, taking great care of the body? Eating clean; no sugar, caffeine, bread, etc? Meditating twice daily? Going to therapy for how long now? Addictions? Taking drugs?

How about your upbringing? Any abuse, trauma, loss?

I'm sorry to hear that, and I wish you the best.

One practical advice I'll give you is to try Maca Root. Leo spoke about it in his 'Supplements' video, and it is a natural viagra if you will. It just made me super horny while out with girls. If there is a problem with your libido in addition to the scar tissue, it will solve that.

Always remember what Leo said: Happiness is accepting the present moment without resisting it. It is not to be found anywhere else.

@Nahm It has become an obsession in my life and has stopped me from pursuing my goals by being a serious distraction. My life has been pretty good other than when this became an issue.

Meditating twice daily?

Stress level, 1 - 10?

How much responsibility do you have in your life, 1 - 10?

@ds300  Did you have any problems of this sort before April of 2017? If not, it makes me wonder if this  is an issue of the psyche rather than a physiological issue?  You have a very specific date as the start of the dysfunction, can you remember what happened before this date that may have initiated this?
