Being humble

14 posts in this topic

I see true masters are very humble amd modest. Why is that?

Like, someone might be a zen master or a guru or even a normal person with a deep understanding of being, but they live normally with others and don't even talk about how awake they are?

What if you totally wake up but you can't talk about it with anyone else?

That's why you can't BS your way too far on the Path.  As you marinate on the Path more and more, The Ego is not so much out front with Spirituality as it is at the beginning of the Path.

They understand experientially there is nothing to be special about.

Everything else is as much god as them, it is them.

What is there to be arrogant about if you truly see this ?

Even humbleness is a concept that falls apart at that point.

They don't identify with the thought that they have awakened. They are not awake and they are not a master. They are not even consciousness.

There is only expression of truth

@Pouya Humility has a direct correlation with consciousness. The more you understand your place in this intimately connected system we call reality, the more humble you get. The less you go out of your way to change others... The more you see how ignorance even in the presence of good intentions can fuck it all up.

This is something I'm actually pretty awful at, while I often credit others for work we have done together i'm also inherently smug about everything  solely about me.

Because when you're satisfied you're not striving.  Notice it's those who are not satisfied that are striving.

I'm conscious of God, but I don't tell anyone cuz they won't understand that they are Consciousness and that their ego-person-body mind is imagination. There is no notting to speak about that which cannot be understood by the mind. I am a normal guy interacting normally, consciously playing the character which is part of me.

But I have become conscious of something deeper and more authentic lately, personal. Which I will expand and nurture. Personal connection and chemestry. Masculine assertivenes. Fear has to die,
