What is your Zone of Genius?

11 posts in this topic

Helloo.  I'm struggling a bit to find my zone of genius.  So I thought I'd ask...

-What your zone of genius is and how did you come to recognize it?

-Also, have you heard of any other techniques or questions to ask yourself to find your zone of genius beside Gay Hendricks' method?

I'm looking forward to hearing about your replies and hopefully this can get other people thinking about this subject as well.

Enjoy!

Representing emotions through sound. Found it through a combination of self-awareness, values alignment, natural strengths and personality type.

Out of the box thinking.

Wish I could also think inside the box, so I could genuinely understand general audience and not just accept their behavior

Self awareness takes time. Experiment often and take notes on the outcome.

Have you thought about reading or watching biographies of successful people and seeing when they had their moment?

@Chase Ellfeldt  Yeah, I thought it was like that as well.  I feel like, at this point anyway, for me it's about experimenting more and gaining more life experiences.

Not a lot, but I'll be reading some biographies for the life purpose course.

Thanks

@Strikr ... You're an inspiration to us all.

An example for everyone wishing to reach their full potential.

You are the reason I get up in the morning, strap on my gloc, get that paper, and spin those rims.

Thank you.

My field is music. Sound.

Anything that enablas me to hear.

To rearrange. To create melodies, rhythms, tempos.

I fell in love with my passion at a young age. I must have been around 6.

I have been writing my masterpiece ever since, so to speak.

A lot of mastery, one could say.

That makes me even more eager to master further. To learn, improve, expand.

My passion also assisted my spiritual growth. Big time.

The more of the sound I heard, the more awareness there was. The stronger the fire burnt, the more I felt whole. One.

Sound also assisted me in creative, abstract, big picture thinking.

It made me be more compassionate. More transparent. More here and now. More me.

It also opened other fields end endeavours that are yet to be mastered.

By knowing frequency, I came to know a whole lot more.
