I've recently been listening to Yellow - by Coldplay

You know how he says "look at the stars, look how they shine for you" reminds me of Alan Watts when he talks about the fact that there is no light without your eyes to perceive it, life is relationship

It reminds you to remove your identity and your ego, and to realise you are part of the universe, you're not some separate entity, and that you were not put on this universe, you came out of it

which ties in nicely to enlightenment

Mine is Muse - Survival. It's about extreme determination, and even if it can get u in a bit of trouble if u're not careful, this is so inspiring when u're down.  I really recommend it! And I also think it's the most awesome olympic games theme ever :D peace!

"Titanium" by David Guetta & Sia gives me sooo much strength when I feel depressed.

A song with a self help/actualization theme is something different than a song that personally triggers your will power. Here is one of my fav help/actualization theme music :

I love watching this in a relaxed contemplative state. For the impatiant, lyrics start around 3:40.

While I love rock and metal mostly I will say Lindsey Sterling's "Spontaneous Me".  Love that one, so empowering, energetic and uplifting.
