What's everyone's favourite song with a self help/actualization theme?

Nice topic!

I am a composer/producer so this definitely resonates with me.

I think a topic as broad as self actualizing can be difficult to summarize or express lyrically. Especially because of its inherit subjectivity. So, with that said, my song is an instrumental track that never fails to energize and revitalize my commitment to whatever I am working on in the moment.

Can you see the end?

Eddie Vedder - Rise

It's from the movie Into the Wild.

"Rise"

Such is the way of the world
You can never know
Just where to put all your faith
And how will it grow?
Gonna rise up
Burning black holes in dark memories
Gonna rise up
Turning mistakes into gold...

Such is the passage of time
Too fast to fold
Suddenly swallowed by signs
Lo and behold
Gonna rise up
Find my direction magnetically
Gonna rise up
Throw down my ace in the hole

I would recommend Pearl Jam as one of the more quality bands out there.  They are one of the few who are really about the art of music and not about fame or money.  They are often dark at times, but also very deep.

I don't have a favourite song for this, but i do enjoy listening to liquid drum n bass, or just space ambient music.

Well these don't include such a theme but I reeeally like those uplifting vibes I get from them and what it does with me is basically the same effect as something with a self actualizational theme:

enjoy

Summer Madness by Kool and the Gang
It has no lyrics, which is why I love it. The feel of the song leads me to feeling more self actualized in the moment. :)
