Is there books/websites full of the following exemples ?

I heard there is a book from David Kahnemann, but which one is it please ?

If a ball and a racket cost 11, and if a racket cost 10 more than a ball, how much does a ball cost ?

a) 0,5    b) 1    c) 2

(Richard=not married) <--- (Lea=???) <--- (Jon=married)

<--- = person on the right sees the person on the left

If Richard isn't married and Jon is married, is there a married person watching someone that isn't married ?

a) Yes. b) No. c) We can't know

Have fun, please don't give the answers until tomorrow, give some time to make people brain fry ?

First question: 1 since ball + racket is 11,  and racket costs 10 more.

Wrong on the first, no explanation for the second (so wrong too).

So it is.

It's mental shortcuts, heuristics, that are commonly wrong. It's from the book Thinking Fast and Slow.

There's also some exercises and examples in this book, but I haven't read it all.

C, we can't know, because we don't know what's Lea's relationship status. Someone who says yes is assuming, which is common on this forum. Is this right?

You're saying what kind of exercices they are, but you are still wrong on both of them.

There is 0% assumption to have to find the answers, just need to think beyond your wrong intuition.

d) We can't know

Spirituality is any movement towards the Unnamable. Everything is spiritual.

The only true way out Resistance is going into it because any way out of it is staying in it.

The purest life possible is surrendering to the Absolute.

I know I'm wrong on the first one but how am I wrong on the second one? Dunno what to search for to find the answer.

ha yes ( now I've been reading haha )

I've seen a video of a guy talking about this "false assumption intuit" it was better explain and he try on people ( and they almost all had it wrong )

can't tell the book, but I did find a video on the same idea ( it was "popular" )

When Einstein wrote this riddle he apparently said that 98% of the world would
not be able to solve it:
There are 5 houses in five different colours.
In each house lives a person with a different nationality.
These five owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of
cigar and keep a certain pet.
No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the
same beverage.
The question is: Who owns the fish?
Hints
The Brit lives in the red house
The Swede keeps dogs as pets
The Dane drinks tea
The green house is on the left of the white house
The green house's owner drinks coffee
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
The man living in the centre house drinks milk
The Norwegian lives in the first house
The man who smokes blends lives next to the one who keeps cats
The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill
The owner who smokes BlueMaster drinks beer
The German smokes Prince
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
The man who smokes blend has a neighbour who drinks water
