Does Anyone here have experience with prolonged fasting?

I've been here a lot about the health benefits and considering trying a 72 hour fast. Any tips  and advice would be appreciated

Don't do it alone, especially if you've never fasted long term before. Find a naturopath or detox. specialist to assist you and provide guidance. The risk is that your liver and kidneys may not be ready for the toxic shitload that is about to hit them.

Read a bit about Liver detoxification Phase 1 and Phase 2 and study what nutrients are needed for it to do these properly. You want to be at your absolute nutritional and health peak before attempting even 48 hour fast, not to mention 72. Some herbs like Milk Thistle, Dandelion and Nettle Leaf are very helpful in this. Also there are some meals like grapefruit you may want to avoid for a while before fasting as they inhibit Phase 1 or 2.

I'd suggest do couple 24 hour fasts to start getting your elimination organs accustomed and maybe than do a 36 hour vegetable juice fast or 48 hour mono fruit fast. Give it a while before doing 72 water.

\i suggest checking out the work of Loren Lockman on youtube. He is an expert within this field, he owns a fasting center in Costa rica where he has fasted thousands of people. He has convinced me that fasting is the single most effective thing in clearing out the garbage out of the body, and the body will do it by its own intelligence. I believe that you can trust the body that it will take care of its problems when you give it enough space. The body will never cause itself any problem through detoxification if you are doing it correctly.

I am planning to go to TangleWood when I have the money for it:

Fasting is great. But just like anything you don’t go in and do a week if it’s your first fast, you start with a day and see how you feel, and then 3, then 5 or 7 days. You must look after yourself, have enemas on hand to use daily, and get lots of sunlight while doing stretches to assist the process and to make sure your energy system is not quite deficient.

Fasting can create a big focus on the physical body for it is a physical process. Now what your goals are. Fasting will not assist spiritual growth if you think it’s going to do all of these magical things. For you are relying on something external to save you, and nothing external can ever take you to Divine Love But your own self.

While fasting I reccomend distilled water (you can remineralize it with Himalayan salt and charge it in the sun for 5-8 hours or more), and the correct perspective that it’s not fasting that enlightens me, it’s not my job that gives me true happiness, it comes from within. And then you will benefit immensely.

There are many experiences where Divine Love in meditation heats up your body to remove physical toxins. At the greatest level you can manifest a new physical body because our minds are masters of the material world if you look into Eastern yogis and at Jesus. This is more to illustrate the power of Love in you even though it is the gentlest and softest energy.

For me, the best fasting way so far is 2-3 days of fasting and then eating something light along with chlorella/spirulina/raw cacao/haritaki, etc. Then another 2-3 days. Try this for a month, see how it works for you.
