On a scale between 1 to 10. Personally I would say between 3 to 4, a relative 6 being possible. Not ugly in physical appearance. Anything 2 and above is game, for most men (80%+). But that's focused all on the base lower self, and highly relative.

5) Average.
1) Walking Death.

As for how, you meet men that is highly dependent on context and situation.

Oops she sent a picture to me, but unfortunately I'm gay haha and I kind of thought it was a joke or something because I hadn't read this thread... 

But the picture is of a healthy (outside at least) nice looking lady.  

Thinking it was a joke, I just responded with, why would you want a boyfriend?
