Frequent Travel Fucks Someone Up

7 posts in this topic

OK, I reached to this conclusion, and for someone who is not self-actualized enough, I think travel creates an enormous distraction for them, and what's dangerous about it is that you can get some satisfaction from it, it lets you think about stuff that you saw while you are traveling, but does it open your mind and let you see reality in a better way? I doubt that.

Actually I live in a country with the worst passport possible in term of freedom of travel, and I see others who come here from countries with strong passports, and I notice that they are really distracted people who are running from place to another. trying to find themselves maybe?

I can see that.  I didn't start traveling until my mid-30's.  It's good to know a little about life before you travel.

Travel is great, I travel a lot.

But there is a lot of 'Stage Orange' travel.

That type of travel where people go taste "The local cuisine" and eat "Gelato" and just that whole dandy act around it.

It's really what you make of it and decide to get out of it I guess.

Yeah.  I prefer cultural travel myself.  Even deeper would be the kind of travel where you go to places people don't normally go.  Who goes to Mongolia for example?

Maybe they were fucked up before travel. Who isn't fucked up in someway? If the perfect is the enemy of the good, and all is perfect but must change, how should someone express that?

For those stuck in the mind, probably.
