why is so difficult to get enlighten without drugs

31 posts in this topic

the short path is always a false path.

you can not get enlightened throughout psychedelics. at least not without "natural" discipline first, not without learning the lessons that must be learn by you everyday.

unfortunately people look at enlightenment as a trophy and they distance themselves from it. they think they can "get" it. enlightenment is nothing as anything else. you can not know enlightenment. you must have a sincere desire to know truth.

you don't have a sincere desire of knowing truth, that's why you can not meditate. you are not interested in meditation, you most probably just want to get rid of some personal problems and that's all. but meditation is not for that. meditation is rediscovery of oneself. it is not a practice. you just stay in silence and find yourself. you just stay in silence because that's what you want to do - and this is "meditation".

silence is boring for most people. they want something else, not themselves, that's why they will not wake up from this dream, at least not this lifetime.

Maybe because of distractions of the modern world, you can literally spend a lifetime distracting yourself with useless things. Some monk in a monastery has no alternative besides looking inside and investigate the Self.  The most valuable asset in today's world is our attention, all companies fight for it all the time, no wonder most people have some kind of ADD. Drugs make you confront all parts of yourself, make you look inside much easier (as you have no choice) since they are shoving it on your face. Also, they alter reality radically so you start to question it and its all downhill from there.

@Lucas Lousada difficult is a relative term. if you're seriously committed it isn't "difficult." it takes effort ofc, but it's a labor of love.

LSD and Mushrooms can raise your awareness much more than it is by default when you're sober.  It's good to have that happen to you.  It's an increased mindfulness and a spiritual cleansing at the same time.

Not true. Is just a step in becoming soberer for the dormant. After one awakens, drugs usually have a lower vibration than breath+kundalini at full throttle.

Meditation is a weak form of psychedelics. That's why it takes far longer to kill your ego with meditation than with psychedelics.

Psychedelics however show you that without the meditation or application of the realizations, this state shall fade because you didn't come here to be god, you already are god. You came here to experience god through not knowing you are god. This way you can learn and grow because you don't always have direct access to your infinite intelligence so its a new and exciting way to experience self through "otherness.

One thing i must mention though, belief systems far outweigh the power and effectiveness of both meditation and psychedelics when it comes to creating and shaping your reality and state of existence.

@pluto What's wrong with my belief system when I am easily distracted? Would meditation and psychedelics not help a lot with addictions and distractions?

@Etagnwo Yes, it has a lot to do with energy they did not understand. When one takes a psychedelic there is a huge release/surge of energy that if not given adequate time for grounding, crystallization/integration and balancing of this energy, it can turn into a deep fryer on an "energetic level".

Sure they would but again, they are simply "permission slips/tools" we can choose to use that only help you become aware of what is always there in awareness behind your focus. If truly believe something to your core, by universal law it must occur especially as it becomes a "knowing".

All i am saying is what you believe will work best for you, will work best for you no matter the method or tool. Belief systems = Reality.
