Dr. K is a twitch-streaming psychologist who incorporates a decent amount of spirituality in his content (he trained as a monk before studying at Harvard). There's too much to just post one video, so instead, I'll post his channel

https://www.youtube.com/c/HealthyGamerGG

Every time he talks to someone (he normally talks to big streamers/YouTubers) he seems completely focused on understanding their perspective, and finding solutions that work within it, no matter who it is. It's very nice to watch.

Dr. Cornell West embodies this stage beautifully! Study him if you're trying to move into Yellow.

Not sure if Bertrand Russel has been mentioned on this thread or not, but here he offers a Yellow perspective on the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche (whose philosophy is a Red/Orange deconstruction of Blue).

Near the end of the clip, he uses a thought experiment of an imagined conversation between Nietzsche and the Budda as a framework for exploring the ethical ramifications of Nietzsche's philosophy.

@DocWatts Yep, Nietzsche is an overrated self-aggrandizer. He thought a lot and did discover some truth like Will and vitalism as fundamental in reality, but he didn't understand a lot.

Couldn't agree more; while his deconstruction of Christian morality is insightful in some aspects, these are unfortunately wrapped up in the self-aggrandizing Power Fantasy of a weak man who was a sycophant for Elites, and had nothing but disdain for %99 of humanity.

@Brittany He is early green at best according to my estimation (vegan activism). His disagreement with Sam Harris isn't very surprising either as moral relativism is pretty much a staple in rationalist circles. He is a strong materialist (explains his determinist view on free will). He might go yellow later in his life or if he stumbles across some type of consciousness expansion.

Totally agree, he's talked about how he was raised christian, so it seems he's made quite the transition, possibly from blue, definetely up to orange/green now, and I expect for sure he'll move up to yellow in the future. He has nuanced opinions about a lot of topics and is a really smart guy but I don't think that makes him yellow. He's still got lots of green outrage towards the factory farming industry to get out of his system before that happens.

I agree.

I think Cosmic Skeptic is in a place of having not "stumbled across" higher truths vs. being closed minded. He responds to [new] information with a very open mind.

The philosopher Hegel comes to mind as arguably an early Systems Thinker.

Are there any good examples of stage yellow artwork ? I’d like to see what a stage yellow movie would look like, or any form of art for that matter.

@Happy Lizard That's going to be tricky, because Yellow hasn't become predominant in the Culture yet. I think the closest we can get are works that embody some aspect of Yellow, be that Perspectivism, Systems Thinking, or thinking about the World's problems in Novel ways.

These aren't a perfect fit, but here's one or two that embody one or more aspect of Yellow (in my view):

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?
