Are RSD Instructors Somewhat Unconscious?(not hating)

15 posts in this topic

I have been a big fan of RSD for several years now, and I must say that I greatly admire many of the instructors, and they have helped me exaggeratedly. Now, with this said, I have lately been noticing that they seem too sure of what they are saying (even when its outside the scope of dating), and speak with a certain air of self-righteousness that I find to be not only a sign of close-mindedness but also limited consciousness. Is this  just me or am I actually on to something?

When I look at RSD I see a parasite hivemind of a dangerously sick, ugly ego that is by now so inflated that it can barely hide it's true appearance anymore. A "degenerate" can only pretend to be enlightened for so long until it self-destructs.

@iyfe There should be some nuance here. Very often, when you achieve a certain level of mastery and when you have been trained under great mentors for a long period of time, you will gain a confidence that VERY VERY often can be mistaken for cockiness, ego and arrogance.

Truth is that more often than not, it is very tiring to reiterate at every single seminar the fact that they did all the mistakes that can be done in the field, to provide analogies and all of that. If they could, they would just tell you what to do without any type of persuading, argument etc because they know that their teachings work. But they know that it can't be done like that (at least all the time), because people will start to consider them arrogant, cocky, self-righteouss etc.

So if they seem self-righeouss, in some cases it may be true (they are human after all), and in others they are just too tired/bored/fed up with giving all the arguments and personal analogies.

@iyfe

Examples?

They're obviously not perfect but the RSD crew in general are great teachers.

RSDLuke is a heavily overweight man who spends his time in Clubs in Vegas trying to have sex with Instagram models. How enlightened do you think he is? Of course the RSD instructors are really good in the dating department and probably also in the business department. But I would say they don't know much about love, spirituality, beauty etc. For instance this 'social circle game' is the most manipulative scary shit I have ever heard. Friends are reduced to simply means by which to get laid. No love or companionship there. I exaggerate a little bit and you can definitely learn a ton from RSD. But you get my point.

RSD Luke might not just mention all the other love/friendship stuff that goes on his mind on a daily basis because he decided it is irrelevant to his goal of teaching guys how to get their 9s and 10s. Note that Luke is very left-brained analytical type. He is focused on the topic. Secondly,

this 'social circle game' is the most manipulative scary shit

this is your judgement. If Luke at some point in his life decided that this is not a manipulative evil thing but atunement to what his female friends want then of course he behaves in congruence with this new belief (aka as if it was amoral, neutral, neither good nor bad)

The only thing I could say is, I was into RSD but not anymore. When you take a leave and look at the content with fresh eyes a half a year later you will see that indeed they have bloated ego's. They do however know what they are doing in the dating environment. I guess their world view exist of only girls so when you then conquer that you feel like you have conquered the world.

Yes and no.

They explore the mechanics of a process and label feelings. Building a blueprint/mindmap/flowchart. It is troly the birth of Real Social Dynamics. A gigantic project.

It is interesting how "robotic" humans are. Our routines are pretty much the same.

Tyler is defently going towards enlightenment. He is a great teacher.....but also a great salesman. Something to keep in mind. I do think that he is worth evey cent.

The rest I consider like specialists in an area, not able to see "the whole".

There is probably also a sociopathic aspect to it. In this case it serves many.

Speaking of programming and socialengineering, the PC-culture beacomes really visable when contrasted to RSD.

I consider RSD to be a important but smaller and more focused part of an erea within selfactualization. It cannot stand on its own. But is needed and important.

To receptive people it is the entrygate to selfdevelopment from the basic need of multiplaying.

I used to watch RSD videos, but got tired of it. Even Tyler seems to have some traumas that he doesn't deal with (or being overly cocky is a normal thing that I can't deal with).

Julien Blanc is coming with new materials, but I still can't trust him. I don't know, when I listened to RSD guys, many things made sense, but there was something bad in the air.

The RSD guys also don't talk about having a relationship with a girl that fits you. They generally focus on picking up hotties and that's it. As if a relationship was just about sex with a hot girl and nothing more. By my experience, your happiness won't come from sex even with hot girls.

Anyway, I don't know other materials that could help with relationships. There is a book by Gary Chapman that I think is interesting, but it still doesn't teach how to approach women.

It's funny that RSD teachers know that personally very well. RSD Max has two part book called "The Player", where his depression is being described. Yet one of the main points that advertise his newest product caled "Girlfriend Game" is guide to having threesomes. I guess that high consciousness stuff doesn't sell well enough.

RSD as an organization has a very big ego and is money hungry. I can't imagine them switiching to more conscious bussiness scheme, where they sacrifice part of the money for just putting out better and more honest content. Like for example Leo does with Actualized.org, he chooses less money-making, but important topics, doesn't bomb us with short videos and pricey courses all the time, etc. But it's easy for him, beacuse it's his organization, his personal growth = growth of Actualized.org. RSD have this harder, it's fueled by an army of unconsciouss workers and also not everyone at the top is high in consciousness either.

Of course they are unconscious from what I have seen. Like 95% in "spirituality" or "self help" they use concepts originating in truth in service of egoic agendas. That is just how it is imo.

First off I haven't went through and watched more than say three or four videos by RSD so I can't say I can speak for their entire library but I would say from what I can tell their material is largely overstated and bloated but does occasionally have a few good points made in it. They drill a few different aspects of dating which can't really stand on it's own for an overall fulfilling life. They are really just about pick up and cold approaching which for perhaps some social skills/advice they can be helpful but for any kind of inner game or self work I would avoid them.

Somehow this video was recommended for me some time ago and I won't say anything what my interpretation is, but how he relates to his own children speaks for itself

Good RSD instructors learned to be in a flow state in the moment and its kinda some way of meditation. At least Tyler trascended the ego and interacts with others frome a deeper self.
