Intj and Isfp relationship

13 posts in this topic

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate some life experience from some of you.

Is anyone had a Intj/Isfp relationship ?

If yes, how did it worked/is working for you ?

What are the things to be wary of, the things that make it works well ?

In my example it would be a male intj and a female Isfp.

Thank you very much :)

As long as there is great communication that includes honesty, acceptance, and being non-quitters, there is no stopping the couple from being together in a lasting relationship. It will not matter what type of couple you are.

What Leo is saying here is a basis for an interdependent relationship:

Like attracts like.?

If u have much in common, it'll do.

Stands for: Introversion (I), Intuition (N), Thinking (T), Judgment (J)

Stands for: Introversion (I), Sensing (S), Feeling (F), Perception (P)

You have the first one,  so !

That's something I guess !

I think u go along better with:

ISTJ

INTP

ENTJ

?

The situation is VERY complex, in short, it really needs to work in the short-mid term.

Can't explain, it's private af though.

@Shin

I think there's much better qualifications you can use to determine whether you should be in a relationship with a girl than Myers Brigg. That's not going to tell you very much.

Examples of questions I'd consider much more important:

1) How does she treat her friends?

2) How does she talk about her ex?

3) What is her family life like?

4) What are her goals, if any?

5) What does she do for fun?

Not saying you can't also look into Myers Brigg. I would just make sure you dig deeper than that.

All those answers are super positive, even amazing, when I think about it.

Thank you :)

I guess others answered great, nothing to add there.

But in my experience (female INTP, male ENFJ); my focus was more in thinking in the philosophy and spirituality (T and P) but his was more in science, order and justifying (F and J) things. The judgement over unproven things by science (J) and getting strong emotions (F) of disappointment just became too much for me.

But of course things happen and not all come from the personality types of some questions they answered to be counted in that category.

Kind of weird intj though, I only learn something if I really have too, otherwise I prefer to relax/be and be goofy/have fun, rather than theorize, think scientifically or trying to grasp complex concept (even if it's still interesting to a point).

Funny of how spirituality can change, or at least make your brain malleable.

Social science says opposites attract.

It also says birds of a feather flock together.

So don't overthink the personality matrix ;)
