the hard part of enlightenment

26 posts in this topic

the hard part of enlightenment is to tell those who loves you that you are no longer the one they love.
the one they love is dead now, no longer exists, and you are the one who killed him without their consent.

That's Egoic too though.  Reality is one, so to think you are talking to another is delusion.

Just rest as awareness and get beyond the beliefs of reality.  They're tripping you up.

Reality is magical, not material.

Be the unchanging Soul and just let reality play itself out -- and try not to cling to beliefs about reality.  Just watch the beliefs float by but don't cling to them.

Reality doesn't change after Enlightenment.  You don't change after Enlightenment.  Your relationships don't have to change after Enlightenment.

Enlightenment is simply realizing that our beliefs about reality are not reality.  And experiencing the profound crack that this causes.

Pay attention to unconditioned reality for a while.  This is the reality that's there before concepts are attached to about it.  Just focus on that for a while.  See what that is.  See how thoughts lie on top of that.

It makes you normal paradoxically.  That's an interesting result, huh?

It might be due to the lack of neurosis.  The Mind is relaxed, not agitated all the time.

@Patang There’s no hard part in enlightenment, there are ‘hard parts’ getting there. You are love. Loving them is effortless. Saying such things to those who love you would hurt them. They are you, experiencing unique challenges and suffering. Just love them back, and enjoy the love loops.

@Joseph Maynor

all right, this needs an explanation. sure, an enlightened human being does not care about other people, simply because he does not possess the ego/mind that inspires empathy. he could simply ignore those, and disappear from those he was part of their lives. but this is not the way to conduct human relationships when they share the same "physical reality." therefore, there is a need to explain the change that has occurred in what "he" was, and that "he" is the cause of it. similarly, this should be done in all human practices, including this forum.

@Nahm

love? certainly, but the love they know is not the unconditional love through which he is conducted in the "physical reality" that he share with them.
hurt? yes, it is inevitable simply because there is no other way. the truth, the only truth, cannot be avoided.
oneness? sure, but only from "his eyes", not theirs.

@Patang Enlightenment, refers to being the ‘light’, synonymous with love. Love is literally all there is. Discrepancies are our projections.   A gift of being filled with love, is seeing there is no other, no physical reality. A person can not be understood by another, there is no other.  A person can not know what another thinks, even if the other is telling them what they think right to their face. To be filled with unconditional love, we have to accept these things. Otherwise, we create all kinds of discrepancies.

Enlightened, you would never tell another that you are no longer the one they love. It would be clear you are love. You would realize you are literally the one they love. The difference lies in the realization & meaning of ‘one’.

Nice joke

One’s center is not one’s center, it is the center of the whole.

And the ego-center is one’s center.

That is the only difference, but that is a vast difference.-

@Nahm❤️

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within yourself that you have built against it

@Nahm an unconditional love unlike a human love, is neither a feeling nor an emotion. it is merely the way an enlightened human being relates to reality as a whole. an un-enlightened human being cannot understand that, he only knows what love feels like. a feeling is originated from the ego/mind, and when the latter does not exist, no feeling nor emotion can be expressed. human love is been addressed to the "self" of another human being, this is why it is conditioned. when the "self" is gone, there is nothing to address to.

thank you for this conversation ??

you see, the paradoxical situation is that there is no-one to tell them anything...

DON'T GET TOO CONCEPTUAL ABOUT REALITY -- REALITY IS VERY SIMPLE

You might be getting a bit too theoretical; too clever by half; too much in the Mind; too beholden to beliefs.  You are all that exists.  But that doesn't mean that there is no movie.  We all have movie.  But movie, when beliefs are stripped of it, just becomes part of the pre-conceptual field of awareness that constitutes reality.  So, there is a sense in which the dual is part of the non-dual, it's just illusory and not real -- it's just beliefs laid up on top of the pre-conceptual field of awareness.  It's only by clinging to beliefs that we get movie, Maya.  If you look at the pre-conceptual field of awareness, there's no 2 levels of reality.  That's belief, Maya too, that 2 level theory of reality.  Only beliefs cause puzzles, reality does not.  Reality is very simple.  Be very empirical and very honest and you might locate it.  Reality has no paradoxes.  Paradoxes are Maya.

@Patang Yes, but without the distinction, in this light - self imposed - , there is love and you are love.

yes, the distinction is no longer possible. love & light is the key by which one can relate to reality.

@Patang In my experience, once you're awake you don't really see any "egos" out there like I used to before awakening. There is no longer a division/separation in any degree. It's all literally just Absolute, Infinite, and God. Sure, I have thoughts like these but they're just thoughts in duality, they quickly wither away. Everyone is God pretending not to be God. It's hard to tell if they're just joking around or not.

The people who love you will not understand what is happening to you, maybe they will call you crazy or even leave you. This include parents, brothers, sisters, relatives, friends... etc.

Reality changes totally after you start the awakening process. If you are 50 years old per exemple, you literally start feeling reality as a 5 year old, the 5 senses will go into the natural flow.

Who says Enlightenment is only realizing the truth, has come to experience awakening because he/she is still dreaming. Because Enlightenment envolves the so called Kundalini, and it will shatter your being totally (in a good way, with huge physical/mental/emotional struggle).

To put this into perspective: You encounter a bunch of little children running around, even if they are 55 years old. And give thanks if is someone in your life who understands you, because it will literally blow away all the old you. To such and extent that those who knew you before will have doubts about your sanity.

Blessings
